Well, I did it!! I left my new 2019 Grand Sport under the area where the warehouse semi door comes down and it did right on my front bumper !!!@ My own fault for not checking clearance!! After a curse laced fit , I drove home in a quite different mood than arriving at my wife's machine moving business. Now to look for a shop to "buff out" some things.

Oh darn, I just bought one and I'd be pretty upset if that happened to me. Sorry for your pain. Get it fixed and forget all about it.

It's nearly impossible to be prepared for all contingencies. Best see about getting your new Corvette repaired.

I feel your pain.
Back in 1976, I'd just bought a brand-new Pontiac Firebird Trans Am...red with that big fire-breathing chicken on the hood. I'd had it maybe for a week when one day I took it to one of those self-serve car washes. I had it all cleaned up and pulled forward out of the wash bay to dry it off. About 75 feet ahead of the drying area was a business and a few cars were parked in front of it. So of course, a lady starts to back up. She kept on backing up until she backed right into the front end of my brand new car.
I was dumbfounded. She was embarrassed. She made all kinds of excuses...my brakes didn't work...I couldn't stop it...etc.etc. I was really surprised that I remained as calm as I did. Anyway, she had insurance, and I had it repaired as good as new. I think about that every now and then and your experience brought that back to my mind just now. Thought I'd share it so you'll know that that stuff happens a lot to brand new cars. You'll get if fixed and it won't even bother you anymore. You might even laugh about it one day.
Here's a pic of that car...and sorry for the hijack. I figured you could use some sympathy from someone who has 'been there.'
