From experience I would advise not to use the black seat armor with seats other than black !!
I had a black one over my adrenaline red seats and the black coloring bled over, luckily the black tint came off !

I rather use an old sheet !!

Two related things I've experienced.

In my C6, I had one of those towel covers, it actually left black stains on my seat (from when I'd get redonculous back sweat, I had a 4LT with the white/beige seat inserts).

In my C7, which has a red interior, I notice my belt is making the very bottom of my seat back a tiny bit black. It will not wash off, and is annoying. Might have to resort to the dreaded Magic Eraser.

This is a common issue with red leather seats across many auto makers. BMW has had many issues with this same thing over the years.

PS: Hope your baby is safely in the garage; it looks like Moore is having quite a storm at the moment and we've got another one headed our way in Yukon!!
Those were my thoughts as well, but no there was dye transfer. It's been a wet week in Moore and surrounding OKC area!

Interesting. Why is this more of an issue with red interiors vs. other colored/dyed leather interiors?
