Default Cool Yellow ZR1 delivery,8/12/18 delivery post,Barn finds etc~Mike Furman at Criswell

~One of the greatest "Car" events is held each year at the Carlisle Fairgrounds and each year it occurs the 3rd weekend of August in Carlisle, PA.
Corvettes at Carlisle is put on by Lance Miller and his team and they do an absolute incredible job. It's held on 100 acres and if you walk every path
it's 14 miles! Over 5,000 Corvettes on site! For me it's Corvette nirvana and I will be on site August 22nd-25th. I will have a 2019 Corvette on display
at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Tent just next to the GM Racing tent on the infield Midway. Please stop by and say hello...an NO, do not expect
Chevrolet to have a Mid Engine Corvette on display...but I still say that GM will announce said Mid Engine by the end of this year and production to begin in 2019
as a 2020 model year. Want to stay in the loop? email me your contact info. mfurman@criswellauto.com
(Tomorrow I will be out of the office and in Princeton,New Jersey (Monday the 13th) playing Golf for the NCAA College Wrestling Hall of Fame.)

Will it look like this? Time will tell. Stay tuned.

~Spotlighting one awesome delivery this week.

~
Tim T. Of East Setauket, NY has bought several dozen new Chevrolet’s from me since December 2009...and Friday he took delivery of a Race Yellow 2019 ZR1 with 7 spd manual trans, Competition Seats, 3ZR Pkg,
Jake logo satin hood stripe, yellow calipers, yellow stitching, carbon flash wheels, CF painted mirrors and ZTK Performance pkg. Tim will easily reach 200mph in his new ZR1.

~Others that left the yard...

~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throwback section. Please in honor of Frank post up which Corvette pic is your favorite.

Where it all began.

Can you say photoshop? Look below...

Thanks Mike for another great week of pictures!

Congrats. to all the new owners, Corvettes and other models too!

Busy weekend upcoming in the Corvette world, with the Carlisle event in PA, as well as Woodward Dream Cruise, Corvettes on Woodward, and Back to the Bricks Corvette Reunion in Flint, MI all next week too.

On that note, favorite photo is the Flint Assembly Plant where it all started back in '53! I plan on attending that event, morning to afternoon, then drive back south and hit Woodward for a while towards the evening/night time hours.

Have a great week, and remember to "Wave" everyone!

Thanks for another great week Mike.
My favorite this week is the silver '67 restomod. I haven't been a fan of the modified midyears in the past but they are growing on me.

Have fun on the golf course!

Thank you for another great round of Sunday pictures!

My favorites this week are both C3s. The bright green one with the European license plate and the bright red one that looks eager to be driven. Very early 1970s, but not sure of the exact model years.

Thanks Mike. Leann asked me to tell you that if the mid-engine does actually look like the rendering you posted, she will be placing an order. As you know, I wanted one of the last manual tran, traditional, convertibles before they go away, but it wouldn't suck too bad to have a mid-engine, auto, coupe sitting next to my new orange one in our garage.

Thank you Mike. This was a very enjoyable thread (no surprise). Nice delivery stories and great older Corvettes pictures.

Glad you are getting out of the dealership for a couple of days of fun stuff!
