Default My Little Blue Vette's 2nd Birthday...Got her a new present...

Bought my Little Blue Vette two years ago this week and since then, I've made a few small, subtle changes. I installed a set of those GM ‘mudguards’, swapped out the painted silver wheels and put on some chromies, had the windows tinted, took off the side stingray emblems, and changed the chrome badges and lettering to carbon flash.

Today for her birthday, I bought and had installed a new Z06 style grill and bought and had installed a set of those CarboTech brake pads. I'd been bit leery based on my experience with ceramic pads on my C6, but these suckers stop even better than the OEM's, which I really liked.

Anyhow, these have been the best two years of car ownership I've ever had. The more I drive it the more I like it.

Life is good...

Nice grill! More pics of the other stuff you added. Why did you take off the side stingray emblems?

Terrific looking car … tell her Happy Birthday and that she doesn't look a day older than when she was delivered!

IMO the more black you can add to contrast Laguna Blue the better. Just love how well black goes with Laguna Blue.

for sure, I plan to swap over to carbon flash emblems and the Z06 grill, stage 1 spitter and side skirts on my Laguna Z51 too. I already have the black splash guards.
