Mine was 2017 I bought new this Spring, but they disclosed a few test drives and it was in a local parade in the 18 mos they had it. I looked the car over head to toe and it was in great shape. Unless there is damage on yours I really wouldn’t worry about it.

Mine had 168 miles on it. You're upset with 7 miles? Hmm.......

My 2015 had 12 miles on the clock and I gave the dealer the third degree about it. I didn't consider the extended factory QC possibility at the time, but they gave me the spin that their techs were required to run the cars as per the PDI and check for obvious issues, and they indeed have a checklist they're required to follow. I bought it anyway, but I won't buy a new car that I suspect has been demoed, period. If it has been demoed once for one mile it is a used car, IMO. There is a fine line here, like demos vs. techs performing a pre-delivery regimen of checks or riding down the road to fill the tank. My 2017 from MacMulkin had 4 miles, which I consider about right for a new car. They don't allow demos with new cars as a dealer policy so I had no worries there. IMO the break-in period is important factor in the car's future performance and reliability, and I want to break-in my new car my very own OCD way.

During the NCM factory tour, they explained that for quality control, 1 in X Corvettes produced is taken to a track and run through a series of tests. So a small percentage of new Vettes come with a few more miles on it than others. I think it would be more than 7 though--just pointing out how there can be differences between one new Vette and another.
Another example--which always makes me laugh when I see people posting how rain will never touch their Corvette--is that they put the car in a water chamber and absolutely drench it with a torrent of water. This is to make sure there are no leaks.

30 miles is what cars typically are delivered with if they were randomly selected by the factory to do extra QC checks on. Consider this to be a good thing as your car was gone over with a fine tooth comb and if any issues or problems existed when it rolled off the line they were likely corrected before the car was shipped to the dealer. ]
Stop worrying about the little stuff, its now a used car (and probably leak anyways lol) go enjoy it.
wasnt happy about 96 on my last new car but felt better knowing it already had a trans replaced. Ironically put 4 more in it under warranty lol

Its also pretty normal for the dealer to work out a deal with the station that sells the fuel for two reasons. The first is the cost of fuel. A few pennys off retail price adds up if your a high volume dealer. The second is you cant give out a gas card to the mechanics, because there are to many PDIs being performed at the same time, and having dozens of fuel cards or credit cards floating around is just bad business.
So, what this ends up meaning, is that the closest fuel station to the dealer, may or may not be where service department personnel goes for fuel. Instead, they go wherever the proper financial arrangements have been made. This is why some new cars might have seven miles on them, while new cars from a different dealer might have eleven or thirteen or whatever.

~250 on my 2018 Grand Sport. My dealer in Detroit traded with one in Chicago. Yes I let them drive it here and 3600 miles later it performs exactly the same as everyone that had 3 miles on theirs at delivery.

The "spin" comment was to emphasize that more than likely many cars are not road tested at PDI based on the low-mileages being reported here. I did see my PDI checklist with all items checked, but that wouldn't necessarily mean all of it was actually done, which is fine by me. I would rather do my own PDI (post-delivery inspection) road testing anyway.

Must be nice to be you.
That is a very privileged statement. While it is true for you, understand that for many, a corvette is a real sacrifice. So, not at all a casual 'disposable' thing.
But yea, I get it, you don't have that much opportunity cost associated with an expensive car. Congrats.

20 miles on my C7, at least a third of which I put on myself on a test drive.
I've gotten several other cars via dealer trades, driven up to 250 miles to make the trade.
Getting bent out of shape at a few miles on the clock and suspecting that someone has been joyriding seems needless to me. If you really don't want more than 3 or 4 miles on the odometer get a car with that.
