Default Questions about my new C7

Hey all,
I'm moving from the C6 forum to here as I just took delivery of a 2015 Z51 Stingray. My other car was a 2008 Z51.

I have a couple of questions:

In my manual it states when in Track mode and I push the TC twice fast it will show track options in the DIC like Wet/Dry/Sport 1 or 2 and Track. Mine does not show this. When I push the button twice it says Stabillitrack Handling Active and both light are on for TC and I forget what else. But I can't get those options.

The memory seat control is driving me crazy. In the other car I put it how I wanted, pressed Set, number 1, and that's it.
I did that with this car. The exit recall works every time. But the driving seat won't work. I press and it does nothing. I press and hold everything moves an inch. Press again another inch. Press again another inch. Press and hold for the the 4th or 5th time it will move I nto position. Driving me crazy!

Any suggestions for these?

Thanks.

My new ride.

You have to hold the number until it beeps, then it is set.
Unless you have mag ride, I don't think you get those performance options on screen. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

I press Set then hold 1 until it beeps. Still nothing.
How would I know if have Mag ride? The paperwork I have says Performance Sports Handling. But the manual does say it's there.

Quick answer - the front shocks will have wires coming out of them.

If you like 16 year old girls! Lol!

Also, that only works on the 1st year c7 I believe...

Try these threads:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-general-discussion/3352794-memory-seats-i-don-t-get-it.html

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-general-discussion/3973129-memory-seats-programing-guide.html

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-z06-discussion/3729785-memory-seat-settings.html

There are several more if you do a search... Also, I've found searching via Google and always entering "c7 corvette" is the most helpful.. This forum always pulls up in the search. Works better than using the search in the forum itself.

Additionally, as an M7 owner, if you do not set the eBrake when you park the car, when you return the "auto move my seat to the #1 position when I go to start the car" will not work. You can verify that you didn't previously set your eBrake if you look at the DIC, you will notice no P for parking brake engaged. Some say they don't experience this but I can make it happen consistently every time.

Oh and another thing, though Ginger says you only need to move forward a little bit so as not to hit the sensor behind your seat, I found this to often not be the case so I set it, then disconnected the sensor. Haven't had a problem nor needed to reset my seat position for the last few years.

Oh and finally, you're lucky - mine didn't come with a bow!

I may have run into the same issue. I just set 1 and 2. All was good after that.

These are current instructions for memory seats. Start watching at the 4 minute mark.

How did you disconnect your sensor?

Appreciating beauty != sexual predator (though many in today's society want to equate the two).

RE the seat memory.

That video is wrong. GM states now you should put the seat where you want it. The press the set button then press the desired number. DON'T press together as depending on the switch the number may hit first!

Just press the # within 1 second of pressing SET. You will hear two beeps. The FOB's are not numbered so try both to be sure you are setting the correct number.

The other issue that sounds like your problem is you cannot have the seat all the way back when setting the exit position. It must be ~3/4 inched forward. There is a safety switch behind the carpet behind the seat. If the seats hit's it, it will do just as you describe move 1/2 inch with each press!
