Chrome is far better than Black, but "Pearl-Nickel" is the best of all.

Pearl nickel is not an option for Z51 wheels. Just the cheap silver finish that comes off easily when buffing. Ask me how I know! I do have a set of Pearl Nickel oem Z06 blade wheels though.
Come on guys Chrome and polished or painted silver looks best on C1 through C6 Corvettes but with all the Black trim on the C7 the C7 Corvette looks best with Black rims …………………………….At least that's what I think!
I remember when I had an old Buick with hub caps. Saved some money and bought a set of factory Buick wheels. What a difference! Nothing changes the appearance of a car like a nice set of wheels. Especially chrome ones. Call me old school or called me old. I just don’t get the whole black wheel fad. You can’t see the design of the wheel! 😬😬
Chevy should automatically change the badges to black if the car comes with black wheels. I have the satin black wheels on a white car and I like them but I have the chrome badges which look out of place. I know I can change them for cheap but the process to switch them scares me a bit. If I were ordering a new C7 I'd get the machined black wheels. Those look the best and most modern/classy in my opinion.

I have machined wheels now. I am trying to like them but I just don't. The machine face makes them easy to clean and such but I don't feel they are worth the $1500-$2000 upgrade over the black or nickel finish and unfortunately they keep reminding me of something from a Honda Accord. I used to love the black wheels with the red caliper look but I think it may be played out a bit. Now, I like the standard nickel finish with black calipers. It is nice that we have choices.
