Yeah... I think I know what you're saying. My Z does that, too, at odd times and I wonder what "it's thinking"... LOL... I guess it's just confused by my motor RPM. Thanks!

ALL the spoilers are; "aerodynamically useless," other than as rear-end dirt collectors. If anything, they're deleterious to mpg, at the low speeds they're driven at off-track. Storage "in the convertible waterfall assembly," should have been built into them. Pretty much a near perfectly engineered machine otherwise.... 👍

#1 for me would be lane departure warning both on side mirror and audio alert.

Improve the shifter for the M7. I installed an MGW and it is a huge improvement. Maybe Chevrolet should partner with MGW.

I can't say that I really disliked the stock shifter that much, I just felt it could be improved if that makes any sense. The MGW has a much more solid feel and there is more positive feedback when a gear is engaged. The gates have a different feel to them also. I feel that it takes slightly more force to move to the 1-2 or 5-6 gates and even more to the 7-R gate. Another way to say it is that the centering spring feels a little stronger. The throw is also a little shorter. Others have compared the shift action to a bolt action rifle (solid and positive). I fully agree with their assessment. Could I have lived with the original shifter; sure. Could I go back; not willingly.

If you are ever up in the Albany-Saratoga Springs NY area drop me a PM and I will let you try it.

Have a way to manually lower the screen to access the storage area in case the screen gets stuck.

Give us Z06 wheels that will not so easily crack!

The C7 isn't "confused." If YOU are not driving it properly, you're the one confused on how the M7 operates. Would suggest, you don't engage the rm, or, change shifters....

I don't even understand this. The rear compartment screens? They get in your way?

I'm in Burnt Hills, NY 12027. You can google it. I'm about 30 minutes north of Albany.

Not if you take your time and follow the videos. Getting the rubber boot installed took some playing around. I ended up using some plastic trim tools that worked well. Some people have trouble getting the shifter boot off but mine had been removed before I bought the car and they broke one of the small protrusions off so it was easy. The broken part doesn't seem to have any effect on how it looks or performs. I don't want to hijack this thread so PM me if you have any additional questions. I'm happy to try and answer them.

When I had my C6 I asked to have the speed sensitive steering disconnected so it would be easy to steer at all speeds. And the answer was "NO it can't be done". No definitive answer as to why,, just "NO"

Heated seats in my 2017 C7 base 2LT are weak. Can only barely feel them on high. Cooled seats are just ok on high.
Blind spot monitoring should be stock. Especially on this car.
Better infotainment .....but it's not terrible.
Seat belt clip holders. Not sure why they haven't changed that.
GM mud flaps should be standard.
Rev match switch should be a single button somewhere but I know why it is like is.
Top installation is a little fiddly on mine.

Anything else would be nit picking. Over all fantastic car so far.

I've test driven cars with lane departure warning and steering wheel feedback that pushes the car back into the lane and it is incredibly annoying. I can't imagine an audio alert to go along with that. This would be the last thing I want on a C7/8.

Change: Paddle (or Rev Match) shifters that are not so cheap and flimsy that you can hear them when you use them. Heavier, metallic paddles that are standard in the Euro-trash cars are a no-brainer.

Add: An option to enable/disable the crappy center audio speaker so that those of use who appreciate true stereo can turn it off for music and turn it on again for other audio applications like talk radio.

Add: 4 holes, not 2, for the rear license plate frame so we don't have to creatively augment the rear end to accommodate 4 hole 3rd party license plate frames.

Change: Give us a stingray exterior side trim piece that does not suck, like the GS or Z06 have. Why do I have to decide whether to perform an abortion on my side trim because I am a base model buyer?
