What would you add/change/remove and what is useless
This might be fun. What would you change about your C7? What would you add? And what is utterly useless?
Add:
Add:
- Blind spot mirrors
- Retracting mirrors
- Support HUD turn by turn for AA/GM and other navigation systems.
- The auto button for the heating/cooling system is one touch and it turns on. Make it another touch and it turns off
- Have the ebrake automatically apply whenever one is exiting the car (pretty much when the exit seat option triggers)
- Much, much better cup holders!
- Better seat belt tensioners. I had to have them fixed twice now.
- Gas fill system that doesn't constantly shut off the gas pump at most gas stations.
- Do not stop the secret compartment from going down when in reverse. Either that or have a little consistency and also prevent it from coming down when going forward.
- The 1 and 2 settings for the ventilated seats. One can barely feel it at 3.... 1 and 2 are therefore useless (I live in Arizona so I don't really use the heating that much).

Burning Brakes
Good list. Not sure what you're referring to about the 'compartment'. If it's as I suspect the info screen, mine doesn't move unless I hit the switch. Never had a problem with the seat belt tensioners. Agree with everything else.
Thanks for the input.

Interesting (though I don't have mine yet).
I was thinking the other day that vehicle side mirrors might become a thing of the past considering a small camera can be embedded on a body side panel(s) that does a better job. It would reduce wind friction as well.
Parking brake on when exiting. Since it's electric, that would seem like a no-brainer as part of the FOB programming.
Cup holders always seem to suck.

Seems to me my 2014 gave t-b-t on the HUD if I had NAV selected on the DIC (and otherwise, it displayed when a turn was coming up regardless)
Toggles through 3 different "levels" with each push. A non issue for me....
Been that way since C6. Never had a big issue with it as long as you didn't try to fill too fast
Not sure I ever experienced this but I would think it does that in order to give you the rear view in reverse

Only drawback was that if you drove when the bugs were coming out, the wipers thought that it was raining and created a smeary mess.

Melting Slicks
ADD:
- The ability to check / clear codes on the DIC (like the C5 can)
- Warning light that the targa top levers are not closed
- Thicker foam/filler under the arm rest and door panel leather, so no indents from your elbow show
- Infotainment Ports to easily add or upgrade front cameras

Add NOTHING, remove at least 90% of the digital/electrical gobble-de-gook!

I agree with the Blind Spot, and the Cross Traffic sensors. I know GM said they didn't want to take away from the body lines of the Corvette, but they went and put "black wheels" on the car, so......wait, what, noooooo, I didn't mean that.

Put your C7 in reverse. The info screen will change to show you the rear camera. Say "Dang, I want my sunglasses. There's inside there". Hit the button, the screen will not go down. Now put your C7 in 1st gear, the front camera will go on. Now hit the button. The screen opens. Why the inconsistency?

Ah yes! I forgot that!
I think a little auto dimming might be in order too. At night I end to tone down the HUD's brightness and during the day I tend to crank it up. I know, 1st world problems but hey, I'm in a 1st world country!

It often fails for me. I put it on the lowest setting so as not to fill it too fast and then usually grab a window wiper to clean my windows. Inevitably I hear a click and the gas has stopped flowing. Many people report it here. About as many say they don't have a problem. Maybe it's being in AZ where it's how and lots of fumes are happening - who knows, but it's definitely a problem for me and many others and should be fixed IMHO.

I first experience the Hill Assist on my 2013 Camaro. At first I disliked it because it was foreign. But I got used to it and it was OK. On the C7 it's even better and now I appreciate it. I've also been driving a stick for 40 years. You have to try it and get used to it to appreciate it.
