I suspect the people having problems are doing something different. Perhaps if they could describe in meticulous detail, each step they take...
I've posted many pictures successfully. I've followed the directions given on this site meticulously. Recently, the process for adding a picture quit working for me. It quit working on this computer and two others. It quit working on two different internet networks. Now it's working again (for me anyway).
The fact that I've posted pictures before and after the reported problem (going by the listed procedure), on multiple computers, and on two networks, suggests it was a website issue vs. a user issue.
At any rate, it worked this morning and that's good!

I disagree. I use Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) at home. Used to have a Macbook pro (installed Ubuntu over it though I did give it a good shot for about a year). As I said, I'm on Windows at work.
It's far more dependent, I would guess, on what browser you use than what OS you use. Generally I use Chrome, Beta, sometimes Firefox. I stay away from Microsoft Browsers and Safari. Call me kooky but I want a browser that works on most OS's not a browser that will lock me into using one OS.
Testing out the method described above (clicked picture icon, clicked Browse, selected photo from folder on computer): EDIT: After posting the photo of our 2017 GS seems to show correctly.
