Default Carbon Fiber vs Carbon Flash

I have a 2015 Z51 silver with black rims and carbon flash everything else. Thinking about adding a rear spolier, rockers and front spolier in Carbon fiber. My question is can anyone send photos with those pieces in Carbon fiber on a silver vette with a mixed of carbon flash. I'm thinking this may be to much clash, but at the same time if I do carbon flash it may be over done or boring. Picture both ways would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I have a pal with a ZO6 that has a mix of fiber and flash on his car. It just doesn't look as "together" as my ZO7 GS in all carbon flash. Just my opinion but going all the way with one or the other seems to look best to me.

I just replaced my painted Z51 rear spoiler with a carbon fiber Z51 rear spoiler from one of CFs vendors ( ExtremeOnlineStore ). Great price. Beautiful spoiler.

^^^ It does look good (the Carbon Fiber). But if you go with it, you need to continue the theme. Otherwise, it just looks misplaced on the C7.

I was at a local vette show yesterday ( 50-60 cars ).....many had the side skirts and splitter in carbon fiber or carbon flash. Several had the carbon flash mirrors, Z51 rear spoiler, but had carbon fiber skirts and splitter...to me, it looked mismatched. The ones that had matched the carbon flash mirrors, spoiler with carbon flash skirts and splitter looked much more uniform and consistent. Though I like the looks of carbon fiber better, when I get my side skirts and splitter, they will be in carbon flash to match the mirrors, Z51 spoiler, and stinger stripe. But to each their own !!

My car has carbon flash splitter, side skirts, spoiler, hood stripe and mirrors. I'm a huge carbon fiber fan, but what I like about the carbon flash is that it's unique to the car. I have the exposed carbon fiber roof with painted sides and like the way it comes together. Starting from scratch I would probably end up in carbon fiber all around, but there's no reason to pull the carbon flash as it looks awesome.

I installed carbon fiber side skirts. All else is carbon flash. Unless you’re up close it’s not easy to tell it’s carbon fiber. I love the look with it in carbon fiber.

All you need to complete the look is the carbon fiber console and waterfall from APSIS. I did mine and the dash area looks much more complete.

rvan,
Mine was mismatched. Couldn’t live with it looking like a patchwork quilt. My final two pieces are about to ship. My VCF vision has been a seven-month journey—eight by the time pieces are installed, etc. I will have everything in visible carbon fiber. Although, that steering wheel looks mighty tempting. It is an obsession!

Car looks nice.....mine is shark gray with the carbon flash accents, but hoping to get the C/flash front splitter and side skirts during our long NY winters. Is that a stage 1 splitter, and are the side skirts Z06 or GS style....still trying to figure out what look I want for the side skirts. Thanks !

I have all carbon flash details (side skirts, spoiler, air splitter and end caps) except for a carbon fiber visible hood insert. I thought it would give my car a nice balance with an accent (which is exactly the case) --- plus carbon flash is much easier to repair if need be.

My Shark Gray Z has a mix of carbon flash and fiber. I wouldn't have it any other way. I would not like all carbon fiber and I would not like all carbon flash.

Legit question: isn't the rear valance carbon flash on all C7s? That'll be an expensive upgrade.

Do you mean ‘Rear Diffuser’? Yes. It is but less than spoiler.
