Nope. I love what I have. What I have was and is a childhood dream come true. Will always be a loyal Corvette fan. If they are going to the mid-engine I wish them and the C8 generation the best.

Is it true that with mid engine they will reduce the cylinders and add turbo? Coz if that’s The case then for sure I’m not giving up my C7 GS for it.

no. i want a used ZR1 when they get cheap since they fixed BOTH the valve carbon coking problem and the A8 problem with the ZR!, and the ZR1 alone. But that is as far as I go with "improving" the breed.
1984: GM introduced the ME Pontiac Fiero.
Google "Ferrari engine fires." Even from the experts, ME and fires go hand in hand.
Look at GM today, "extended warranties" for possible fuel tank leaks, "triple transmission fluid flushes" for badly vibrating engines causing tranny problems when engine is in V4 mode (fixed only for the ZR1.) Class Action suits against GM for both the C6 Z06 and C7 Z06 to fix mechanical failures.
Unlike the 80's It takes an act of Congress today to get a proper recall on known problems with GM cars. I saw the alpha test of the Fieros, don't need to be an unpaid beta tester for the C8, aka "Fiero 2"

Love my 2017 Grand Sport. Have lots of small mods BUT will get a C8 soon after it is available! Want the latest technology and Zora will be looking down and be so happy! 
Funny, in the book I recently read about Zora's life he stated Ferdinand Porsche knew the right place for an engine was in the middle. He built mid engine race cars for Germany before WWII! When he built the VW (the people's car) the rear air cooled engine was used because it was cheap! His first Porsche sports car was based on a VW for cost reasons!
Funny, recently toured the US Porsche Racing Team facility in Rock Hill SC and they are making racing 911 types by putting the engine where that silly small rear seat is located and making it mid engine! Lower polar moment of inertia! (Let you use Bing and search what that is all about!)
I have had only standard shifts for my DD for 60 years of driving- starting with my 3 on the floor '41 Ford coupe but will tolerate a DCT with no 3rd pedal. As long it's not a GM 8 or 10 speed "slush box!" Yep I'm an old school believing nothing beats cubic inches- even have a 502 cid ProStreet Rod now but look forward to a 3.5 Liter V6 with double overhead cams, 4 vales per cylinder with dual turbos and hope it exceeds the current Ford GT with it's 3.5 Liter V6 that has 647 hp!
Yep, I progressed from a slide rule to a TI-59 calculator to Radio Shack TSR-80 to an IBM XT computer and Okidata dot matrix printer I bought for my home office in 1985 for 3 times the price I just paid for this new PC. It cost less than my desktop and about the same as my large iPad! Yep have an iPhone but never use it when in the car and won't in the C8! I'll spend all my time watching out for all you "young folk" looking down to see who sent you the last useless text message! Hopefully can keep my 60 year record of never having an accident with another car! (Looking for wood!)

Would love to have another vette in the future as I really don't want to keep the A8 I have past the extended warranty. But since India is dangerously underemployed and my company lays off droves here in the US while hiring droves in India, it does not look like there will be any new cars in my future.

No plans to sell the C7. Will seriously consider a C8 after the reveal and we get solid information. My dealer tells me he has been taking C8 deposits for 4 years now, and allocation might be an issue at the beginning of the run if I buy from them. Figure mine will be a second or third-year car in the C8 generation if I want one.

Assuming the price isn't in the stratosphere I will likely sell the C7 and get one. I've owned '84, '97, '05, and '14 so might as well continue with the first year pattern. I am somewhat disappointed with the interior room is the C7 and if improved with the C8 that would be a selling point for me. If worse, I will pass. Luggage space will likely be down and I can live with that as long as it can accommodate a basic overnight's worth of necessities for two.

Are you kidding me?! HELL YEAH! If the C8 is as good as the C7 (which I suspect), I'll have one in my garage after the 2nd MY. From what I see/hear from the "experts" this thing is going to be wicked fast. I still believe it will be within a decent price range.

A lot depends on the price of the C8, but I’m not too optimistic that it will be at a reasonable level.
