Default 9/23/18 Great Color combo del's this week,100+pics/Barn Finds.***Mike Furman@Criswell

~The #1 question I get is "How's Business?" If there were 8 days in a week then I would need 9...and I'm not complaining.
Inventory is not an issue...Corvette allocations are not a problem except for the ZR1...I could deliver 20 ZR1's per mos. if GM had enough
parts availability. I have approx 120+ new and used Corvettes on the ground and several truckloads arrive weekly. Check out the video
from an underground storage I took this past week. You tube title:
underground corvette inventory from Mike Furman at Criswell 301-212-4420

Next Saturday Sept 29th I leave for Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada and will be there thru Oct 3rd. 20 of my
Corvette customers from all over the country are flying in to meet me so we can have the Corvette driving school experience together.
Even Adam of Adam's Polishes will be there as a student for this two day Corvette event.
I also put together a full class for the ZR1 driving experience so I will be back at Ron Fellows in March 2019.

~
Jay D. Of East Hanover, NJ called me a few months back to discuss factory ordering a new 2019 Grand Sport Convt in Shadow Gray Metallic for his 60th birthday present...for his 50th he got a 69 Vette which went away to pay for a deck on his house but he still has a 67 Corvette that he bought for his 40th birthday. Jay and Denise spent Friday evening in Wash, DC and came in yesterday to take delivery. Option list: CF Instrument panel, Auto trans, 3LT Pkg, Kalahari interior with Black top and much more.

~Robert B. Of Fort Lauderdale, Florida took courtesy delivery of his brand new Blade Silver 2019 Z06 Cpe.this past week. Robert is a huge sports car fan and has owned many Porsche’s and Ferrari’s
but he opted to factory order this stunning Silver Z06 with two tone Red/Black interior. Equipment list includes: Auto trans, Visible Cf hood, Visible CF ground effects Pkg, chrome badges, CF Instrument panel,
chrome wheels, 3LZ Pkg and microfiber seat inserts.

~Lon G. Of Harleysville, PA called me up last week and I gave him a sight unseen trade value on his 14,000 mile 2018 BMW M2 Cpe. Lon then picked out his very first Corvette and my last 2018 in stock.
Thursday was his pick up date as he took delivery of this stunning Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic with two tone red interior and Red calipers which make this corvette stand out! Option list: Auto trans, chrome badge Pkg,
Red Seatbelts and 2LZ Pkg. Lon and his brother Ken were thrilled as they drove away!

~Kevin C. Of Henderson, Nevada reached out to me about Mr Criswell’s 1,509 mile Demo...2019 Corvette ZR1 Convt in Sebring Orange Metallic
with the Orange design Pkg and Auto trans. Cool video of Plycar Trucking picking it up for the 2,500 mile trip West to his home in Nevada is on my Corvette
Furman Facebook page.

~Hugh S. Of Glen Rock, New Jersey is part of the two family’s that purchase 8-10 Corvettes from me each year. Hugh called me up last week and purchased from stock a Torch Red 2019 Grand Sport Corvette Cpe.
Paperwork has been completed and Plycar Trucking arrived today to take it the 210 miles to his home in Northern New Jersey.
Equipment list includes: CF badge Pkg, Red calipers, Auto trans, Black Wheels, 1LT Pkg and CF painted mirrors.

~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throwback section. Post up your favorite.

Never seen a truck cap like this before...and its the tail end of a Riviera not a 63 SW!

Have a great week!
I will be out of the office Sept 24-26 and Sept 29-Oct 3rd for off site GM/Corvette events.

The picture of this custom red '68 convertible was my choice. It had to be tough seeing over that hood.

I always look forward to your Sunday morning thread.

Good morning Mike.

"If there were 8 days in a week then I would need 9.." There is no doubt in my mind about that! I am the same way.

Some really nice Vettes this week. Congratulations to the new owners.

Have a great week.

Thanks Mike for another great week of photos and stories!

Congrats. to all the new owners, a lot of beautiful Corvettes headed to homes across the USA!

Have fun while you are out west, and enjoy the time with the others involved.

Favorite picture is the C2 convertible, with the fall season upon us, cool and sunny days may mean more top up cruising.

Thank you Mike for another fun Sunday delivery thread! Nice to see that while we read that some are not selling as many C7’s as they wish, that you are super busy, selling up a storm. Love the backstories of the new deliveries. The pictures of older Vettes remain a weekly tread. Here are my favorites this week.

Nice Sunday Thread Mike. i wish the weather was nice but at least i was able to enjoy last night. took the Vette to a wedding. thinking my weekend driving would be today as yesterday was packed with errands.. so much for that. nothing "entertaining" about trying to enjoy driving one of these in a spirited way in this lol..

Favorite pic this week was this one.

being 45yo. the wife and i grew up listening to all the stories from our elders about this era. something the wife and i wish we could have experienced ourselves.. sounds like a much better time to have lived.. maybe we'll get lucky and they'll invent time travel before we expire one day lol

Thanks for another satisfying round of Sunday morning pictures. My favorite one has to be the Corvettes parked in front of Devil's Tower. The runner-up is the caramel-colored 1963 coupe shown from a top rear perspective.

Have a great upcoming week!

P.S. The Battlefield Corvette Club is having a rally this upcoming Saturday (the 29th) at Radley Chevrolet on US Route 1 in Fredericksburg, VA. Several of us from the Corvette Club of Richmond will be there with our cars - as well as members of other car clubs in the region. All are welcome, of course!

Great pictures/stories in this thread, as always. Have to compliment Robert B. on his new Z. That's an awesome combo he selected. Chromes with Blade Silver is perfect, as is the red/black interior. Thanks Mike and enjoy your Spring Mountain trip. Life is obviously good for you right about now.

So glad to hear Corvette sales are still going strong. That continues to be great news for the brand. The ZR1 driving experience you pulled together is going to be an amazing event sure wish I could have attended.

Again, another great weekly post love reading it while sipping my morning coffee.

Here’s my favor pic for this week. IMO, the two tone seats in this color scheme is the best single option and why I got them when I bought my Torch Red C7.
