Happy with your front & backup camera?
The picture quality is not very clear, its the same front and back which tells me its the quality of the camera. My Accord backup camera has a much better picture and my BMW is leaps and bounds better. Cheap camera's,a focus adjustment? Anyone replace theirs with good cameras?

I’ve never noticed mine being that bad. I mean, a better picture would be nice, but not that big a deal, as it performs its function. You should try to swap with a better camera. See if it works. I bet you’d be the first to do it. Would be a neat experiment.

My base model bare bones Ford Focus has a much better picture than my '19 GS. Just one of things that could have been easily improved on the car from the factory.

Yep, I noticed the same thing in my 2019 GS...my 2016 Dodge Ram backup camera is leaps and bounds better. But, I'm coming from a C6 GS with NO backup camera, so I really like the one(s) in my 2019 GS...

While related somewhat--because it's a camera--I'm going to be a little off topic but I was surprised to see the PDR is only 720p and was added to the vehicle options at a time when one could easily obtain a dashcam that did 1080p and higher. I've had my dashcam for about 3 years and it's 1280p and cost around $100. Why would GM skimp on cameras--be it front and rear parking cams or driving cam--for their most expensive offering? Seems weird.

GM definitely cheaped out on their cameras. Both my 2019 GS 2LT cameras and those on my wife's Cadillac totally suck as far as clarity of image compared to what's been used on BMW's for at least a few years. Very disappointing.

Just doesn't make sense... I mean, we're not talking big ticket items. The difference between a good camera and an average camera can't be much more than $50 per supplied unit... why cheap out?

I lean towards being a picture quality snob when it comes to home theater and such, so I get the question, but it's honestly not something I've ever been upset over as far as the Vette cameras go. Like a few other said, they are clear enough to easily view obstructions, so they serve the purpose.

It's OK. My Ford Escape has a better camera, and the Sync 3 for your phone, etc. is light years better than the Mylink in the Corvette. But it gets me by.

Now I just miss my front camera since I traded from '17 3LT to '17 1LZ. Shows u don't know what u got until...
Yest, some dude had to guide my Z into a tight parking spot- like a hot chick with implants who is on high heels trying to get seated at a restaurant.

You've been here long enough nothing should amaze you. The only time I use the camera is to see how close I am to something in front or back when parking. A better picture wouldn't do anything better. Are some of you watching movies on it or something?

While the quality isn't great my real worry is that the reverse camera on my '14 sometimes decides not to come at all. When I had this problem with aftermarket unit it turned out to be the reverse sensor in the transmission. However that was on 15 year old car. I would hope the sensor on a 4 year old vehicle wouldn't be acting up so soon.
