Great videos, we're fixing to do Dallas-Phoenix-Vegas-home in three weeks.
It'll be our first long trip.

Great video! I also can't wait until the next one. My wife just planned a trip to Zion Park! Only 5 hours from us.

I would routinely do 1800 mile weeks in my C6 but the seat in my C7 is really not conducive to trips so all my long drives are done in my Miata and the Vette stays home. I have relegated it to around town and short drives.

Do you have the Competition seats or the standard seats in your Zee? Isn't there lumbar adjustments on the seat that can improve the comfort of these seats?

Standard seats. Bottom of seat lumbar is not adjustable. It’s an individual thing. It works for some and not for others. Compared to the C6 to me the C7 drivers cockpit to me is rather narrow as is the seat. My Miata feels roomier. But your results may vary.

Just returned from a 2 week, 2000 mile roundtrip to the Florida panhandle and back with they wife. There's just enough luggage space for 2 for 2 weeks...Ride was comfortable and gas mileage was reasonable. It was a little noisy when drivng back 14 hours strait through (road noise/tires) but not bad.

I've got over a dozen cross country trips (thank you Uncle Sam ) . Only a few of those in a Corvette, but it's the best vehicle to do this in, as far as I'm concerned. Both coasts, and a fair part of Canada in a Vette, as well.

In 1968 I took a round trip from Los Angeles in my 1965 Corvette Convertible. It was a honeymoon trip. Traveled to Florida, then up the East coast to Boston, north to Montreal, then on to Toronto,,continued to Detroit, Omaha, and finished up back in Los Angeles. Trip lasted almost 4 weeks. The only complaint was the heat coming from under the passenger side floor that was so hot that my new wife had her feet up on the dashboard going thru the desert on way to Barstow. A great trip and no Car problems.

i did a similar trip although a little longer in my C6 from Dallas thru San Juan skyway, Moab, Arches, Monument Valley, Utah 12, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite, Bay Area, Pacific Coast highway, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Devils highway and back to Dallas, about 5500 miles, it was a trip to remember.

My route is in the trip thread here.
