Second car show, second trophy!
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
This time I did hand wash with rain-x car wash, then went over everything with various Maguire's and Stoner products, and after getting to the show I used "tub of towels" to get the brake dust off the wheels, hit it all again with a quick detailer, and tire shine to get it as shiny as possible. I got a polishing cone for the exhaust tips, used q-tips for the space around the lug nuts, and used painters tape on the interior to pick up anything that the vacuum didn't grab. I went all out, but honestly it was really more of a father and son thing than anything else...
I also use tons of microfiber towels when using the quick detailers and quick wax, and shop type paper towels.
Oh, I also get the inside of the wheels with one of those soft wheel brush things, the front wheels are a pain (literally) since there isn't a lot of room to work with, but it makes a huge difference when the outside and inside of the wheels are clean.
for the engine, I just needed to wipe it down - I don't drive it in the rain too often, so as long as it's wiped down every 500 miles or so, it's just a matter of maintaining vs. cleaning.
The previous owner exclusively used Ammo products, but I'm not sure I could justify the price since again, I really bought the car to drive, not to necessarily beat people in a car cleaning contest (even though as mentioned it's still fun to win those contests too!)

Congratulations always nice to drive away with a trophy.Your assistant is doing a good job obviously.
