Default Bling Under The Hood

Just wondering what, or if, anyone is dressing under the hood with. I bought this about a month ago and the corvette text was already coming off. The OCD in me couldn't take that so this was my weekend project.

MODS: Please move this to General Section. Accidentally posted here.

I was actually planning to post a "Let's see those engine bays" thread because I wanted ideas for my own. I plan to order some (more) goodies from Pete @ Showstoppers

Not my favorite color combo, lol, but kudos to you for the DIY. But I'd recommend getting rid of that orange peel. Maybe a wet sand/polish?

What orange peel? There's nothing orange.

Some C7 owners are really into the under hood bling, there's many threads showing examples if you search.
I prefer the OEM bling myself.

Orange peel is an undesirable paint finish condition that resembles the texture of an orange peel.

I'm getting fuel rail covers and the plenum cover from RPI in a couple weeks.
Plenum cover in Blade Silver to match my exterior paint.
Fuel rail covers in carbon fiber/silver "corvette" lettering.
Nothing else planned.

I expect RPI does a better job than a DIY.

Now I'm hungry for a hot dog, thanks.

I think you should paint the letters green to resemble relish.

The real question is: sweet or dill?

If trying to be a comedian, I wouldn't quite your day job just yet.

I just ordered fuel rail covers in Arctic White with black script to match the exterior from RPI. Thinking about a plenum cover but not sure that the change is really worth the money

The photo might show it orange peely but IRL it's bright red.

I love my engine bling. Custom painted by Showstopper (forum vendor).

Can't wait to receive my order from Pete! Question about your throttle body cover...I have an aftermarket intake. Supposedly, that cover only fits the OEM intake. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing a picture of the underside of the cover if it's not too much trouble so I can see how it attaches. I really like the look of it and want to understand why it won't fit aftermarket intakes. Or maybe it does, but vendors just say that to cover themselves due to the variations of all the aftermarket intakes.
