Novistretch mask and rain problems?
I'll be driving my 2014 stngray from WI to AZ Saturday and will have the novistretch mask on. I'm wondering if anyone has driven through heavy rain with the mask and had any issues with the wet mask occluding the airflow to the radiator. Any changes in the engine heat indication? Don't know if I'd be better off taking it off before the rain hits. I know I can just watch the temps and take it off if needed - just looking for someone with that experience. Thank you for your help.

I used mine on a trip from western MD to Bowling Green in pouring rain. No issues.

I've been in some very heavy rainstorms with the Novistretch on. One in Salt Lake City my visibility was near zero. No problems with the Novistretch. BTW, I have a vert and no leaks either!

Melting Slicks
No problem in rain, but I remove it as soon as practicable after driving in the rain... In rain, accumulated or splashed up dirt can be washed into the spaces in the material and under the bra, increasing the probability of scratching.

I dont have one but a friend had one and his car started over heating The mesh apparently clogged up with debris from the road and once cleaned was good again

I have no experience with NoviStretch but another type of mask got grit under it on a trip to Florida and scratched the paint on another car of mine. I will never use one again.

Same experience as the others. I use it on highway trips and have been through heavy rain with no issues, but also remove it promptly after driving in those conditions. I am on my second one though due to some tearing but it was 3 years old. Great product and does the job IMHO.
