Default Good experience at Hendrick Chevy in Cary, NC

I read so many complaints about bad dealers, so I thought to post my positive experience at Hendrick Chevrolet at Cary NC.

I brought my car for oil change and alignment. No one asked the dreaded question "did you buy this car here?". First, the representative said 0w-40 is not covered by Chevy, but the manager quickly stepped in and said no worries we will do it. After leaving, I discovered that my alignment wasn't done to the spec I wanted. I called the dealer, got appointment right the way, and got it fixed without any hassle. They serviced the car quickly and in timely manner. Those guys were professional.

Hey Goathead, who was your service advisor? Jimmy Soto is my guy and he's great. I've had both ng but good experiences there and I didn't buy my car from them.

I use Hendrick in Cary NC for all my service as well. They have Corvette Techs and since they are in the top 10 dealers selling Corvettes, they handle a lot of our favorite cars.
Interesting that despite the large number of Corvettes that go through that dealership, every time one pulls in for service, all the service writers look up from their desk to give it the once over. They really like their Corvettes.

I also have found them to be very good but if you use them for oil chsnge and have. A dry sump ask them to leave the 10th liter out the oil change guy overfills. All in all they seem knowledgeable and competent

They are the only dealer I’ll let touch my Corvette. No hassles, professional, and they go the distance in customer satisfaction. They understand Corvettes and their owners.

Sounds like SOP. Standard Operating Procedure. They were wrong, and fixed it. Why should that be such a "good experience?" After all, they scr#wed-up!

I went to buy my car from them last year, but their prices were not competitive, and they didn't have what I was looking for. I am giving them good review for the service department.

My service adviser was Eric. The supervisor who stepped in is Matt.

It's great the fixed their error right away. But I would be upset they didn't do all the work requested in the first place.

I agree. The first person was wrong about the oil and then they botched the alignment. They are not deserving of praise after this scenario.

We bought our 2019 Stingray at the Cary Hendricks dealership and had a really good experience. Unfortunately, we found out two months later that they had not called our insurance agency to change the insurance from our old Vette to our new Vette despite their promise. We were just blessed to have not had an accident.

Again, how can they neglecting to transfer your insurance post-purchase be considered a good experience. I have always taken it upon myself to notify my insurer of any changes or additons/deletions of vehicles to my policy. If I were to delegate this task to someone else, I would have a "tickler" to remind me to check-up a while later to make sure it was done.
