Thank you Mike for another BIG FUN Sunday delivery thread. I always look forward to reading the new delivery backstories. The pictures of the older Corvettes are nicely icing on the cake.

Another great thread!

Another great Sunday post Mike. I had quite a few favorites this week, but in this one I saw me in the future. Sans the snow tires of course.

Thanks again Mike for making this the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. From the my first call to you, you worked with me and gave me a great deal on both my trade and the new car. It was definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive to meet you and to pickup my 4th Corvette. I will be calling you in a couple of years when its time to upgrade again.

The best retro shot has to be the beautiful 1963 split-window coupe.......in BRIGHT RED! The runner-up is the homecoming queen photo with the C1 convertible. I love how the Elkhart Blue looks in the pictures.......almost identical to the Laguna Blue. Oddly, Laguna Blue was what I really wanted on my 2017 that I ordered through you, but they had quit making that color after 2016 and only offered the Admiral Blue (which is nice - but not quite bright enough for my taste). Still, I love the Torch Red on my Stingray.
:-)

If I am ever in a position to get another new Corvette, I would strongly consider the Elkhart Blue - but would have to see it in person to render judgment.

Have a great week!!

My pleasure Chuck! So glad I could assist you and do it all over the phone before you arrived. Made your trip an in and out experience...which was your goal.

Default Mike Furman and his affection for the color blue

Laguna Blue, Elkhart Lake Blue, Marina Blue are all synonymous with the name Furman.

Thanks Mike for posting this pic of me back in the day. I appreciate it. Yes those were snow tires. Took it to work year round.

Foreword: little late for posting comments but just got my Mediacom back in-service today after more than a week without TV, landline phone & Internet due to bad boy Michael dropping by just 60 miles east of me. Not complaining mind you. It's many folks that through a nightmare. Spoke with a lady today that took refuge in her closet with husband listening to Michael circling their home for 6 hours. Sounded like a train she said. Never again she added.

A few comments for your late readers...That shot of the lady at Weeki Watchee in FL was from the Route 66 show off camera. The 63 SWC with Conn plates plus the SWC in the garage sure look like they were re-painted Porsche Red. Very intense red. Ask me how I suspect that. That 65 BB w/side exhaust rotting in the ground has what appears Mustang mirrors. Ask me again how I know. The one gal between the 59 blue Vette and 58 Ford seems to be on her phone. Did they have iPhones back in the day Mike? I don't know! That's a very cool pic w/the black 55 Vette, but not the vette itself, but that iconic 59 Cadillac tail fin. The black 55 in downtown somewhere sure stands out on a goats azz. The Route 66 series sure took a lot of staff and equipment going all the way across the country filming one show at a time. So now on to my fav pic... Lots of nice gals throughout but the one standing by tag # LRB 252 in hot pants has my vote today.

thanks Mike---nice weekly sales and pic selection enjoyed as usual, particularly the 50s/60s/70s street scenes & dealer photos. To me the red C6 w/ painted coves looks kinda ridiculous
