One of the best cosmetic and functional mods
So I installed the WindRestrictor in my 2019 ZR1 Coupe...I got one with a remote and red illumination to match the torch red color of my car. To be clear...this mod can be done on ANY C7...
Installation doesn't take long and there is no cutting your interior etc in order to complete the install...the only thing that takes a bit of time is once the mounts are put in to place you should wait about 72 hours for the 3M tape to cure and I was so impatient waiting to finalize the install. Its functional even for a coupe (id imagine even more so for a convertible) as I have noticed a marked reduction in wind buffeting etc in the car with the windows down and the top off.
Here are some pics...I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to reduce wind noise and improve the looks of their car to boot.

Absolutely not...you pretty much don’t see it at all in the rear view when driving....much like the ZR1 Wing...I had to move myself and the mirror to get the right angle to be able to take that pic of the logo in the rear view...thought it would look cool.

Why is there increased wind buffeting in a ZR1 vs any other model C7?

Pretty cool mod. Personally, I like the C7 flags.

Interesting you don’t get wind buffering with the coupe top off. It’s the primary reason I don’t remove the top there is just too much buffering. Makes for a unenjoyable ride.
