AP RadiCal, RB or Stoptech, Which is best
I will be upgrading my 2015 Z51 M7 brakes next year. What do I go with, AP Radical 372mm front with 6 piston light weight caliper and 355 rear rotor with 4 piston caliper, or Racing brake big brake kit 360/365, front and rear or Stoptech Trophy big brake kit with 380mm fronts and 365 rear rotors?
Which would you choose and why? Does anyone know the weight of Stoptech Aeor Rotors 380mm fronts?
Car is not tracked, just street and I'm looking at weight savings and better braking. Appreciate useful info. Thanks.

Burning Brakes
AP Racing would be the best performance wise, followed by Stoptech Trophy. I’d avoid Racing Brake. All the options you listed would actually end up weighing slightly more than the stock Z51 brakes. The calipers will weigh the same or slightly less but the rotors for sure will be more. For example the Stoptech 380mm 2-piece front rotors weight about 25lbs while the stock Z51s weigh about 21lbs. So no decrease in weight. Brake feel will be better but not significantly so since the Z51 brakes are already quite good. Brake fade after multiple laps will be much improved. Since you are not tracking the car just get whichever looks best to you. Keep in mind you’ll need aftermarket wheels with very high offsets to clear BBK’s on your Z51. I have the Stoptech BBK’s on my car and I don’t track either, I just love the way they look.
