, the
Hoods not even bent. Can't be sure if the frame needs repair. If it does as Bill said there are many parts easily replaced by a an aluminum frame "certified" body shop.
Compared to the C6 Z06 aluminum frame that had one long hydroformed side rail each side rail now has 5 or 6 parts welded together. GM sells all of them. A certified shop would have a frame machine to put the car back to OEM specs.

Alright it didn't crack!
The insurance company response is perhaps not unexpected. Reminds me of when I was going to buy a "Crashed Harley" I was going to have painted to match my Street Rod. There was a place in town that had many crashed cars sent from Insurance Companies. They had several similar lots around the South East and an auction every Thursday. Had to be a dealer to bid, but have a friend who is and can bid. Was able to get in and look at the crashed Harleys they had advertised that were listed for over a month. Several looked like they would be easy to repair. One needed an engine as it was stollen but a new S&S is not that expensive and nicer looking than a stock Harley, IMO.
Checked with my Insurance Agent as to why these motorcycles have not moved. He chuckled and said most of the time they offer the owner a depreciated value and often they don't think it is enough so it sits there until they agree! He said we know the cost of Harley parts and labor to repair is more than the "depreciated" value so that is our offer! Found out folks who are in the business of repairing crashed cars and bikes will pay a lot just for the Harley serial number plaque! Depends on the State, but if a salvage title can be changed to a repaired title etc it can be a good buy. They fix with junk yard parts. With a Vette, especially a Z06, it can always be mainly a Track Car!
