Default Repeating vibration

My apologies for the screw up in the first post. Just joined this forum and have to learn the system I guess.
Anyway . . .
I have a 2015 Corvette coupe with the Z-51 package and performance exhaust. The car just turned 14,000 miles. On my last road trip, over 700 miles mainly on the freeway, the car developed a vibration that repeats itself about every 2-3 seconds. I first noticed it when traveling at 70 MPH with the cruise on. I tried it at various speeds, cruise on or off and it continued constantly. The tach constantly moves between 1300-1400 RPM's. You can even hear the exhaust tone change. I tried it in mainly in Touring mode but I also experienced it in Track , Sport, Weather, and Eco modes etc. .A couple days ago I reproduced a more violent shaking at 35-45 MPH.
Took it into one Chevrolet dealer and they could find nothing wrong. They said it was a "common occurrence" on Corvettes, Cadillacs and Camaros (2014-2017) with the 6.2L, LT1 and LT4 engines.
Nobody can live with this on a daily basis. Anybody else finding this problem??

I did a better job of explaining the problem a couple messages later.

Brad sounds like you are getting typical help from the jokesters.

If your question is serious it sounds like you may have a bad torque converter/transmission. Search the forum for "shudder".

I had the 2015 into a second Chevrolet dealer today. The first could find nothing wrong, except that "a lot of Corvettes have this problem - so live with it."
Today I took the mechanic for a ride and he experienced it too. Their solution was to change the tranny fluid and now drive it for a couple hundred miles. If that doesn't do the trick, next spring they are going to see if Chevrolet is going to buy their torque convertors from a different supplier and they may have to replace it if the vibration continues. At least the second dealer came up with a possible solution. Putting the car into storage now until spring.

Probably bent rims. Since the front and rear rims rotate at different rates, if both the front and rear have damage, the vibration you feel will oscillate. I found this out the hard way. Just had my rims checked today. All four were damaged. After repair, no more oscillating vibration.

Since the RPM is varying up and down and you described the shaking or shudder. Kind of like riding over rumble strips. Anyway, unfortunately the A8 automatic transmission is known for this behavior. The dealer will try changing the fluid but supposedly a fix is on the way...

After hitting a pot hole at 75 MPH on the highway that broke more than a few cords in one of my original RF right rear tire , I rushed to install my new tires that I had bought in anticipation of replacing them anyway as the tire was pretty bad

So we checked closely for a bent rim and they looked ok and seemed to balance fine but now I have the crazy come and go vibration that the OP is describing , Mine starts at 65 and goes away by 70

I know its not the torque converter because I have AFM/DOD turned off , don't have any RPM fluctuation , it does it no matter what RPM I am at and it happens in manual mode as well as auto and makes no noise, just a come and go slight oscillation

Time to make an appointment with a wheel repair shop

Make sure your warranty does not run out ….maybe you should look at getting it fixed before putting it away ?
