Oncoming headlights a problem with C7
It's been almost 6 years since I have had my 2008 C6 and now after purchasing my 2019 C7 I noticed something tonight driving it for the first time at night. It seemed like I was sitting so low in the car that the headlights of other vehicles were hitting me straight in the face. I don't remember this being a problem in my C6. I am 5.6" tall so I need the seat as high as it goes in a Corvette anyway. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Does the C7 sit lower than the C6? Or, does the seat in a C7 not adjust as high as the seat in a C6?

I don't really think seat height or minor differences between a C6 or C7 makes a significant difference (it doesn't with my C5--which I still have) and my C7 It seems to me the issue is a combination of things, not the least of which is the number of SUVs and pickups with higher mounted lights. Other reasons include things like HL aim never checked/adjusted even in states that require it via State Inspections, and more.
Bottom-line, of course, I haven't a solution for you in your Vette.

I heard they addressed this issue with the C8. Get your order in early.

You might be needing cataract surgery. That's one of the first symptoms.

Sitting low in the car as we do does put us at a disadvantage for oncoming cars. There really isn't any thing we can do about it.
Although, I do wish there was a setting for the asshats who are running their fog lights 100% of the time. In the C6, I just turn the fog lights on and off. Sometimes, they actually get a clue. not always....
In the C7, there isn't even that option.

Switching from an Audi S5 to this being my first Corvette I noticed the same thing. Especially trucks given their headlights are at the same height as my head. I got used to it pretty quick.

Brighter lights on most new cars/trucks are starting to bug me also.
Did you all know that it is ILLEGAL to have FOUR 4 white lights illuminated on the front of your vehicle while driving in close traffic???

There are a lots of and bad info out regarding anti-glare glasses. You should see an optometrist or ophthalmologist for their recommendation and checkup while you're at it. A good pair of antiglare glasses, many of which are shooting glasses, will make a big difference when driving at night time.

If glare is a problem for you then you can get a medical exemption that will allow you to put tint on your front windshield. Check these guys out, they manufacture some of the best window tints in the automotive market. Their tints also significantly reduce harmful UV and reduce solar heating from entering the cabin. I have no financial interest in this company. I have just read a lot of good reviews about this companies products.

There films are not just tints. They are anti-glare, polarizing films that can also block out harmful effects of UV. If all you're looking for is just having real dark windows that are cheap then look elsewhere. If you want optical films that are engineered then you might want to consider Johnson films.
