Default The Grand Slam

Has anybody here experienced with their C7 Corvette what I am calling the "Grand Slam"? That is have you experienced all of the 4 big issues on their vehicle that have been reported with regularity here on this forum - 1) the dreaded Warble (A8), 2) - the Shutter (eLSD), 3) Bent and/or Cracked Wheels, and 4) Delaminating dashboard? If you have then my sympathies and, if you could, please take the time to tell us your story. TIA

We're looking for grandslams. Even a triple would be an interesting story to hear.

No issues to report after 4k miles. Man I would be devastated if that happened to me.

I give up, what would be "interesting" about such stories? Sounds like abject tragedy to me and hardly representative of ownership, much less anything else of value, except the owner venting or the reader with fewer issues saying "Wow, someone's is worse than mine."

These 4 reported "defects" seem to be issues that have been most often discussed by members on this forum as well as on the Z06 and Technical forums for quite some time. A cursory search of the C7 forum for any of these issues will return literally hundreds of posts found.

I am not an upholsterer but it would appear to me the problem must be the adhesives GM is using. But then you gotta ask is GM using a different adhesive on the 3LT/3LZ than they are on the 1&2 LT/LZs? Would be interesting to hear back from you to see if using a different adhesive meets with success.

Its the leather directly under the windshield which I dont think the 1 & 2 LTs have. I think their dashes have plastic there but not 100% on that. I havent had it checked by an upholsterer yet. the Chevy dealer here ships out any work like that As soon as I get anything done or looked at I will post that

There are a number of tint manufactures that sell/install expensive but effective ceramic nanotech infused tints that can reduce solar albedo heating as much as 80-90%. 3M comes to mind. There are numerous others too. If heat is the issue causing this delamination then it may be something worth considering. 3000 dollars for a rebuild on the dash is a big hit for anybody.
