I don't change my exhaust settings, but try to be respectful as I cruise out of the neighborhood. My generally assumption is that people don't want to hear it. Hell, I don't even want to hear peoples cars (no matter how good they sound) when I'm in my house.

I have the NPP remote fuse switch and Borla X-pipe so it really barks on cold start. Lots of noisy cars around my hood though - a couple of old school big block Chebbys and a really loud new Subaru so everyone around in this hood has fully acclimatized to the racket. I wont fire it up before 9am or after 10pm to be a bit courteous.

Not a thing as NPP exhaust isn't that loud.
If it's bothering a neighbor, then I expect you have more issues with them than just the NPP exhaust .

Well said.. i live pretty much in the city and know for a fact not everyone in my neighborhood wants to hear my loud cars ( even though a couple people like it ) I have to drive my mustang to the exhaust shop in a couple days with open headers, gonna **** off a few folks along the way that's for sure, even thru mufflers its pretty bad ( i dont have a trailer or i would use in in this case ).
When iam at home i don't want to hear anyones badass corvette or bike or whatever. Valved exhaust is a great invention!
be respectful of other's... some of you tough guy's are not as cool as you think.

Even with NPP the C7 is no where near as loud as a Camaro or Mustang 5.0, I wouldn't worry about it.

I turn on ESM in Tour mode when I turn onto our street and vice versa. Our next door neighbors on either side have newborns. I know it's not super loud to begin with, I just don't wanna be that guy.

I leave the NPP wide open when ever I feel like it. However, I live on a Cul-De-Sac street with around 60 kids, some of them toddlers. So I drive VERY slow, usually around 15-20 MPH just in case some little tyke runs in front of the Vette. The neighbors are much more concerned about speeding than they are a Corvette making a little noise. No one has said anything about the exhaust except one neighbor who said it sounds great. Several have commented they appreciate driving restrained due to the kids. We get along great with all our neighbors.

Did you see the recent Mustang ad showing there version of NPP has the ability to put the loud mode on a delay timer? So what happens you set the time delay and the car starts and runs maybe the first 3 minutes or whatever you set it to in stealth mode then automatically switches to the loud mode once out of your garage and on the road. We need this too.

I live between an Air Force base (F-15, F-16, F-35) and a live bombing range. My neighbourhood is used to loud.

Wow. You're right. Just checked the owner's manual. Guess I never noticed that since I have the sound set to Auto, and I never noticed the difference between E and Tour.
Speaking of sound.....here's a question. When y'all are at a stop light, and it's time to proceed, does your engine kind of kick up to the rev with a sort of belch? I can't better explain it other than it reminds me of a BMW (or other cars) that go into idle mode at stop and "come alive" when proceeding forward. I don't think our cars do that, so what is going on? I'm thinking it's associated with direct injection.
Thanks again for pointing out the stealth mode.

We have three with Bullets. I don't worry too much about them other than keep the rpms down while in the neighborhood.
Even with the Bullets, none of them are as loud as Mr.owc6's bagpipes, anyway.

In track mode all the time? I could care less about what any of them think?
