Default Minor front end damage

Hi All,
I Recently got into a minor fender bender where I hit another vehicle in the back. My car suffered minor nose damage. Most of it was paint rub and I was able to get it off. But i did end up with one scuff which was deeper and penerated the clear coat and paint. What could be the cost involved in fixing this ? Also any recommendations for body shops in and around Houston Texas ? Please help

Get Dr Colorchip. I think you will be happy with how well it works.

I've found that most "good" body shops typically start at abut $300 for repairs regardless how minimal the damage.
Dr Color chip is good but you will still see it.

Is that black electrical tape covering your OEM chrome grill crossbar?

I would spend the bucks and get it resprayed if you want it to look as it was. drcolorchip is good for little rock chips and some scratches but that damage looks a bit much for just a touch up.

Was the accident reported to your insurance company?

Also, for no more than a harsh paint scuff, try to use a service that would avoid having the car reported as having an accident on Carfax.

If no police report was made and no insurance report I would touch it up myself as others have said. If you did need to have someone do it I would remove the cover and let them fix it. Keep it off Carfax

Some here are ok with their C7s having blemishes other's want their's as close to perfection as possibly, all depends on where you fall. Even a very good "touch-up" is still going to be noticeable in that highly visible area.
To me, the electrical tape on your chrome grill bar looks almost as bad as the paint damage. You could probably get both the bumper and chrome bar painted for $300>$400, personally I would go that route.

"heavyzee" recommended Collision Plus at Hwys. 10 and 6. "LbulletM" suggested 1488 Collision, Magnolia.

If you're okay with the electrical tape job then you'll be fine going with the Dr. Color chip.

Here's what you should do. Try Dr. Colorchip touch up first. If you're not satisfied with the results, then have it repainted.

All depends on how well it's prepped prior to painting. If done correctly, it shouldn't chip any more than any other surface on C7 front.

Going to be more in the $600-$800 range for a proper repair.
3-4 hours to remove/reinstall front cover, and remove all trim(grill, marker lamps, emblem)
.5-1 hour sand, filler, and prime
3ish hours paint
1ish hour clear coat

Figure current body repair rates($62 hour here), and another $35 or so per hour of paint and you have a quote of about 8(about $500) hours of labor, with about $140 in paint materials... This is just a guess based on common times I see in repair estimates.
