2019 Grand Sport Floor Mats
Has anyone had problems with their floor mats ripping wear the rubber heel protector is on the drivers side? Mine ripped at less than 1000 miles on my car.
What is recommended as far as after market goes?
I found some Lloyd mats and I just want to make sure the nap is like OEM... has anyone ever bought and are happy with them?

I had Lloyd mats in my Z51 and aside from being a little dirty, they looked perfect after 52K miles/4 1/2 years

I had Lloyd mats but switched to the OEM Grand Sport mats, I like them better. Come in all colors to match your interior.

I got a set of the GM Grand Sport mats as well. They are thicker than the default mats you get with the car and they don’t have that rubber/plastic section on the drivers side mat.

I have had good luck with WeatherTech mats. When I take delivery of my GS later this week I'll probably get something like this:

I got the Toyota Weathertech mats in my new Tacoma, great for a truck, but I don't like the look for a C7. But they do a great job of keeping floor clean and dry.

I really like their durability and they are a whole lot easier to clean than carpet. They always look new if you just rinse them off every now and then.

I ordered the LLOYDS in the darker gray even though my interior is lighter gray. I figured it would match the trim and be better for concealing dirt. I also ordered the trunk mat... hopefully that will cut down on some of the road noise.
I’ll report back with pics when they come in..

I have to ask, is the tear caused by your shoes?
Stilettos for example? LOL
Or is the mat build quality not so great and the tear is
from failed glue, stitching or movement?
FWIW I'd bet OP will be happy with the Llyod's product.
Have fun.

Lloyds LUXE mats. I mistakenly ordered black when ebony is the correct color to match the OEM carpet. Nap on the LUXE mats is not at all similar to OEM mats and is much thicker, plusher and Lloyds mats offer somewhat greater area coverage. The best!

^These are the Ebony mats below. Lloyds told me prior to my ordering they were closest match to OEM, however as you can see they're still darker than the OEM.
As far as Lloyds being much thicker and plusher it's because GM uses the cheapest/poorest quality carpet material available for the C7.
We have a new Toyota Tacoma and new Hyundai Santa-Fe and both carpet quality are far better quality than what's is the C7. Of course carpet quality is one of the things
GM sacrifices to keep C7 costs down. C7s are hands down the best sportscar for dollar spent in production today so can't expect to have everything.

I ordered Lloyd mats with the C7 logo when I bought my first C7. I also ordered a set of Weathertech at the same time. The weather tech mats stay in the car when cruising or just driving around. I keep the Lloyd mats in the back for shows or cruise-ins.

I know taste is subjective but those Lloyd mats to me just look so much better than the mats in the first picture- almost like comparing the looks of a cleaning girl to a runway model.(lol)
