C7 for 2020?

If the C8/Mid engine started at $169,900, wouldn't that make it the most expense car GM ever produced?
And for that $170k, do we expect automatic tranny issues, rear end shudder issues, leather dashes that become unglued, audio software that cannot be upgraded, orange peel paint, and cylinder deactivation that makes it shake like a truck? Yeah, sign me up for two!

I think that:
1) we are going to see both ME and FE "Vettes" produced concurrently and also the Cadillac ME car all in that very large factory.
2) the Corvette market place is going to be served by two different vehicles in two very different price ranges.
3) once the Zora is released we will no longer see any FE cars in "factory" corvette racing.

My only thought is they spent a lot of time developing the C7 ZR1. It wouldn't be a good business decision to make it just for 2019. Time will tell.

I have said this many times, but I will say it again... I believe the C7 is gone at the end of March 2019 and the 2020 C8 ME will be at dealerships in fall of 2019. Early on in the C7 production it was said that this generation would be a shorter one. Sales are waning on the C7 and buyers are looking for something new. If GM/ Chevrolet can pull off a reasonably priced ME Corvette ( I think they can) they will sell all they can build. If they continue the C7 and produce a hyper priced ME C8 at the same time ....they will fail miserably with both!
