I'll hold off also. Amazon still wants $47.99 for just the 32oz bottle

Cutting Disc and Either Meg's 105 or 100
That's exactly what I've been working on the last few weeks... I want it nearly perfect before I apply my sealant.

With a Google search it brings up some but when you go to the links it's not available/discontinued.
Only viable ones I found is an 8 oz bottle for $61.00 with shipping on Ebay from the UK.
And a 4oz bottle on Carzilla from Canada listed as $27.00 CAD ?
Not worth those prices when the 32 oz SiO2 Spray Sealant is available everywhere.

Just stripped all the Zaino off and applied the Blackfire. Shiney even in the garage. What do you guys use to clean the car after driving for a few hours?

How often should this product be applied?
Does it require prep before each application?
Thanks for helping.

Looks great

I just use a detail spray - try and find one that does not have any
cleaning chemicals in it, so it does not lift off the BlackFire - a spray based carnauba
like Blazin' Banana Spray Wax is what I use to detail

Regards
Chip

You should get 6 months if it is a garaged car

I did a full clay bar before applying, just to get all the previous wax off
and remove any rail dust and any anything that was embedded in the paint.

Regards
Chip

If I go for a short ride and pick up a bit of road dust I usually give the car a gentle wipe down with one of several quick detailers I have; Adams Quick Detailer, Chemical Guys V7, Zaino Z8 or Griots Best in Show Detailer. I also do the top half of the car first and then do the bottom half and the back last turning the towel constantly.

You use one of these quick detailers over the Blackfire? I just want to make sure whatever I use does not affect the Blackfire.

Yes I have been. None of them seem to be effecting the blackfire. I applied the blackfire back in November and my car still looks as good as the day I took the pictures. My car is garaged which probably has the most to do with it. Another thing I noticed is my car has been sitting uncovered in my garage and it hardly has any dust on it. I don't know if the Blackfire has anything to do with that or not but it seemed that my car would get dustier after waxing and sitting.

My car is also garaged but dust would be an issue which is why I always wipe it down and then cover it after use. I had just got back from a Corvette trip to Arizona (no garage queen for me) and decided to strip the Zaino off. While prepping the car I was also washing my nylon indoor car cover. Once the cover was dry I had to have my wife initially help me put the cover on because the car was so slick it was sliding all over! Good to know I can use the Z8. Thanks!

I really like the Blackfire products...... I had been using their "Crystal Spray Sealant" which they no longer make. It was a little 4 oz spray bottle that misted. Enough to do several cars. When I couldn't get it anymore, a year ago, I bought a bottle of their BF300 Paint Sealant, which I've yet to use, but now after seeing this sio2 it looks like it's probably a whole lot easier to apply and remove.

Anyone use the BF300 Paint Sealant ? I know it's more involved to apply and wipe off than the sio2...... wonder how else it differs ???

I've noticed the same thing, a lot less dust since using Blackfire.
It's been 6 months since I did the Vette and 90% of the time I only use a California duster.
When its been driven in rain/ heavy rain etc I wipe it down with a shammy and dry it further with a microfiber towel.
I like the 303 Speed Detailer but haven't used it since putting the Blackfire on.

To put Blackfire to the test, I also did my daily driver 6 months ago and it sits outside year round.
Since then its been in sun, rain, snow, sleet, salt etc etc and still beads up and water runs right off.
And when it's dirty, just sitting in a heavy rain washes it clean again.
This is what it looks like after 6 months without washing or cleaning it
