Default C7 round tail light conversion kit - anyone?

Looking back to when the C7 design was introduced, I remember all the fire & flurry of tail light hate that was going around at the time.

As a result, I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has ever performed the round tail light conversion mod or have seen a C7 in the wild with the round tail light conversion. If so, any pics or has everyone just warmed up to the C7 tail lights.

Just wondering...

In my opinion it looks terrible. The C7 doesnt have the rounded curves of a C6 it has sharp defined edges. The C7 tailights fit the car

I actually like my C7Z tail lights, however I'm curious if anyone bit the bullet and performed the round tail light mod.

I'm sure we would have seen pics by now somewhere if someone had. Strange that an Italian company decided to fab the kit.

Strange...why? Italians know how to make round tail lights for supercars. Here is a $400,000 Ferrari model 812 Superfast. These tailights would look great on a C7.

That car looks terrible from that angle, and not because of the tail lights. I agree with the others that say that the C7's tail lights fit the design.

There were a LOT of whiney asses,(you know who you are), who swore they would never get a C7 because of the awful (in their minds) taillights. Wonder how many of them actually got a C7?

The Ferrari 812 Superfast looks a lot like the C7

I really like the C7 rear end including the tail lights. Why go backwards? As far as the front engine Ferrari that looks like a C7 don't they know that mid engine sports cars are the only cars worth buying?

I prefer to just leave the C7 design alone. Many believe it's the best design in Corvette's 66 year history and arguably one of the finest sportscar designs in production today.
Seems some are always looking to change something, round taillights, 'eyebrows' over headlights, visible door handles where Corvette designers specifically hid them and on and on.

Some still only have a C6. I don't think the tailights are still the hang-up, esp., after 6 MYs of the C7.

No, because the vents to the sides of the C7 tail lights are functional.

The overwhelming attractiveness of the C7's totally new redesign, sold me on the 21st Century rear end, tailights, and esp. captivated by the all new crossed flags Corvette logo!
