Carbon Fiber dash delamination
I have a 3 lt 2017 Grand Sport Corvette. Have already had dash replaced and now the carbon fiber around the gage cluster is delaminating. Any one else have this problem?

Pics will help. When I picked up my car new, the C.F. was pulling away around the nav screen. They replaced it under warranty.

They've been known to come apart.
I bought this one knowing it was coming apart. I fixed it with some high end 3M adhesive and it's been fine for the last year.

I don't think chevy uses the highest quality materials or craftsmanship. Based on lead times for parts, my guess is they're made in china.

Back to the OP’s questions. The majority of people have no delamination issue with their CF dash, however it is a documented problem affecting a small number of cars. You can have the dealer swap it out again or just use a 2-part epoxy to glue the lifted corner down.

Mine was replaced under warranty. A corner was popping up and pulled away from the dash.

That's real frustrating for an expensive add-on. You'd think they'd get that right, at least.

Hopefully you're still under warranty. Too bad that a car this new has developed this problem.

Car is under warranty so I’ll get dealer to fix. The just finished replacing my dash. I would post pictures but can’t figure out how to do it

Just one more reason to buy a base Stingray ("best sports car in the world" R&T).

A reminder to all C7 owners still under the factory 3-year/36,000 warranty:
Once that warranty expires, trim and upholstery items will not be covered by any extended warranty I've seen, GM or otherwise. So keep an eye out for bubbling or other types of delimitation while your original warranty is still in force. After that, you are on your own, unless your dealer and/or GM will extend a 'good will' offer.
If you plan to keep your C7 for an extended time, you may want to consider buying spare parts to have on hand. I know, this involves a ridiculous amount of upfront money for pieces you may never need. You could sell them later -- I imagine the demand will the there because Corvettes are kept on the road for a long time. But after the C7 goes out of production, trim pieces will only be available for a few years at best. That 10-year parts-availability law people cite is a myth.
C6 (produced through 2013) owners with leather-covered dashes (4LT) are in a real pickle -- if their dash goes bad, GM is no longer producing them. That's means a 'what's still on the shelf', eBay or junkyard search, and the whatever you find my might as bad as what you have.

The OP was never clear when he stated his CF was delaminating. He never followed up with pics. The CF dash is an option for any C7 Corvette. I'm just not sure if the OP was implying the actual dash piece (which happens to be CF) was detaching itself as the adhesive was failing. Or was the OP implying that the actual Carbon Fiber itself was somehow delaminating? If this fail was the former, then this could have happened just as easily to a CF dash or a stock dash piece. Would be interesting if he could post up pics of his CF dash.
