Mike:

Thanks for the great pics as always. I probably told you this before, but I'll mention it again. Back in 1978 a friend of mine in Colorado bought 14 Indy Pace cars and he offered one of them to me at his cost. Unfortunately, in 1978 I didn't have a pot to **** in so I passed. About a year later he sold 12 of them for around $30K each and made a killing. Good thing he sold them because the value of them dropped like a rock shortly after that. I'm not sure if he still has the remaining 2 but if he does I'm sure they are well cared for. He was a serious car collector. As a side note, I was his in his niece's wedding in 1978 (my buddy was the groom) and we all drove to the reception in Eisenhower's 1939 Cadillac Parade Car which was fully restored. What a beautiful car it was. I wish I had a picture of it. Hope you have a great holiday season. Keep up the good work.

Mike, You said you stayed busy at work answering questions about the C8. Tell us, when will the C8 be introduced?

While this pic does not really feature the Corvette, I love the way it reminds us of the era, which based on the model of the Corvette and the Chopper builds is late 1960's!
Thanks for another great Sunday post! I guess the ME is to be introduced in Springtime or Summertime-loved Ella!

IMO, the ZR1 wheel looks best in chrome with silver a close second. Thanks for another great Sunday morning thread. Never disappoints.

Do you not see the Red Corvette in the picture? I don't see the Choppers...hahaha.

Should I point the Corvette out Kirby?

Me too. He must not ever had any intention of ever driving it. Seems like a waste to own a big block '72 Vette for 46 years and never enjoy driving it, or cleaning it.

PS....I'm on my way to the Phoenix Auto Show today. I'll post some pics later but I bet they won't even have a ZR1 on display. Phoenix isn't in the big leagues like Detroit, LA or NY unfortunately....

I did see the Corvette. What I meant by the Corvette not being "featured" was that it was not the prominent subject of the photo. Happy Holidays! Love the Choppers!

Always enjoy these weekly posts and pictures. Thanks Mike.

Looks like I'll be putting my new GS under the covers very shortly. Looking forward to spring!

It's not a good idea to play with gasoline like that!

Default Kim in a '56-'57 Vette!

I had a huge crush on Kim Novak when I was about 14 years old; I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. I've always thought the 1956 and 1957 Corvettes had the cleanest style of all.

Most likely because it was just on display at the Chicago Muscle car show last week.
