Default Girlfriend of Corvette owner. Arizona

Hi everyone! I'm not really a Corvette owner, but my boyfriend has had his in our driveway for the last year so I figure I should try to learn a little more about the vehicle he is so passionate about.

He bought a 1976 Corvette Stingray in somewhat bad shape last year and has been working on it pretty much non stop since bringing it home. He bought his first one when he was about 18 after years of saving up, but then ended up trading it for a more fuel efficient car in college when he really didn't have any gas money. He missed that car but is now pretty happy with his new project. And I must say, he's doing a really good job working on this 'vette!

Now that you know more about why I joined, I have a favor to ask. I want to make him coasters for Christmas (Stocking stuffer) with each one having a different Corvette emblem (8 coasters total: C1-C7 + Stingray emblem) but having a hard time finding emblems with matching styles. I'm looking more for the computer drawn clipart kind and I haven't had luck finding C2, C4, or C7 in that style. I kinda edited some I found to make my own for the C2 & C3, but not the C7. If any of you know where I can get the emblem clipart from, I would greatly appreciate it! I'll include some of the emblems I've found as a style reference. :-)

Welcome to the forum!
Cool gift idea for your boyfriend. Glad you share his interest in this. Sure makes it easier when your driveway is inherited by a non-moving vehicle. Hopefully he will post this up on the C3 section of the forum and keep members updated on his progress. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/.

Hopefully thess links will give you the clip art you are looking for (as well as a little history of the emblems):

You see all that blue painters tape he's using to mark that wiring ? Looks to me like you should buy him a set of service manuals.

Here's wall art made up of seven 4"x4" ceramic tiles (coasters) for reference:

Welcome to the Forum. There will be plenty of useful information here to help both of you as you return the C3 to the road. When that happens, remember to wave !
