I've had my corsa x pipe on four different C7 vettes. No codes, no problems at all. Highly recommended you get 0ne!

The rear cats the x pipe removes are not monitored. You won’t throw any codes. If people are getting codes, it’s not from removing rear unmonitored cats as the computer is not tied into them in any way. I would not be surprised if codes come from people messing around with the O2’s on the forward cars durning install. If you smack an 02 with a wrench or breaker bar while installing your X pipe, you might have an issue.

Would the horse power gain on a grand sport be noticeable at all with the x pipe?

No, no noticeable power gains. It's more of a cost effective way to wake up the exhaust, especially with NPP. The Boral x-pipe makes the car about 15% louder at idle, but will give you an ear to ear smile on cold starts and WOT. I highly recommend it to anyone with an M7, as rev match sounds amazing.

Even an A8! Those paddle downshifts create a beautiful snap, crackle, and pop.

If Borla is discontinuing # 60547 then I'm glad I just received mine. I ordered through Josh & the shipping was very quick, at least to central TX. I ordered very late this past Saturday evening/early Sunday morning (after midnight) & it arrived on Tuesday morning. Thanks Josh.

My 60547 works great on my 2017 GS. No codes. Recommend it.

Went to pull the trigger on one and found out the same thing. Called borla directly and they said EPA shut them down. Called RDP and quickly bought one. Great price and service. Glad I could still get one.

I was thinking of getting one but this announcement pretty much forced my hand. My wife thinks I make this stuff up now I am worried my credit card might have to join the witness protection program.

Do you guys heat wrap these things to keep the tunnel temps down?

OEM versus Borla. Sold my Z51 with parts. Regretting it. Now I have to purchase again

Anyone have an opinion on what actual impatc (smog-wise) the secondary cats even have? Most cars for decades have had one set of cats and now suddenly there's a need for two sets? Color me skeptical.

EPA fined Harley Davidson heavily for selling and installing pipes that eliminated the catalytic converters. I assume they are putting all manufactures on notice .

I wonder how the laws read.

There are a gazillion shops selling parts for "off road". So every long tube header manufacturer is on notice? I can see motorcycle (or car manufacturer) installing those parts but how does that affect an aftermarkets parts manufacturer?

Would be interesting to hear the inside story.

Wish I never sold the one from my Z51.

Good opportunity for someone to come out with a quality clone with the same sound characteristics.
