I wash mine, park it in the garage, connect the Corvette battery tender, and cover the car...

Same here. I do put a plastic tarp on the ground as well but not totally necessary. It makes me feel good.
Oh one more thing. Most people are just going with a 1/4 tank of gas. This is recommended to not have the sulfur attack the sender.

Yes, don't waste time and effort next time, if just storing for several months or so all you need to do is connect to a battery tender.

Supposedly will keep rodents away. I've always wondered if there'a any scientific evidence to support this or if it's just urban myth.

Dryer sheets = urban myth. I know that from experience.

Also putting steel wool in the exhaust is not something I would do.

I don’t store mine. I’m curious what cardboard does under the tires.

I want to install a huge fan in the floor to make mine float off the ground like a 1/4 inch.

I am a Vette newbie so please be patient with this one........... I went to put stabil in my tank last night and used a funnel and had a rag just in case. Found the first 2 ounces of stabil on the ground not realizing there are two fuel doors and my funnel was not in far enough The rest went in fine once I adjusted the funnel. My son found something on you tube that said a corvette funnel comes w each car, have to look for mine no one ever mentioned that. I used the stabil, new indoor/outdoor/cover, battery tender by Chevy and will inflate tires 5 psi above normal. Will also use cardboard under tires or the plastic like mentioned above. The whole thing is a bummer but winter is just too brutal by me with the pot holes................

PS: Joe we have the same cover, works great!

Check in your trunk cubby for the funnel.
No need for anything under your tires including plastic unless your garage floor was just poured less than a couple weeks ago.

I like the idea of placing flatten boxes under the tires.

Cool. This is my 2nd one. The last one went with my 2004 z06 when I sold it. I really like these covers.

I stored my c5 z06 3 winters and never had flat spotting with two different sets of tires. It's not necessary but like my plastic tarp, if it makes you feel better....

The runflats are so stiff, they won’t get flat spots. No need for extra air in them.
