Default **12/9/18 Spotlight on 1 of my 4 ZR1 deliveries this week, Mike [email protected]**

~There are many types of Corvette enthusiasts and in my job I get to meet them all. I can appreciate where you all come from
because at one time or another I have been many of those types due to Life's experiences/age. My next Corvette purchase will be my 19th that I have owned.
Some years I have been able to attend many Corvette events and others not so much. In the last Decade or so I have been fortunate
enough to travel more and truly get the heartbeat of the Corvette Nation. I implore you to branch out this coming year and have a blast in your Corvette...if that means taking a two hour trip
to an ice cream shop or visiting the National Corvette Museum...get out and enjoy the Corvette world. The New Corvette delivery pics along with the Barn Find/ throwback Corvette pictures I post are as much
for me as they are for you. Take a field trip and swing by Criswell anytime you're in the Maryland area. www.corvettefurman.com

~So today's delivery post will spotlight one Corvette ZR1 delivery. I delivered 4 ZR1's yesterday among others this past week, all the ZR1's were different colors and I will cover those in coming weeks.

~Ken V. Of Crownsville, MD placed his order for an Elkhart Lake Blue 2019 ZR1 and it’s his very first Corvette. Can you imagine jumping into the Corvette world with 755HP! Pretty darn cool. What a way to start!
Ken’s new ZR1 has a 7 spd manual transmission, 3ZR Pkg, Battery maintainer, Satin Graphite Black Wheels, Black interior and Blue stitching which matches the standard Blue calipers and Elkhart Lake Blue paint perfectly.
This is ZR1 # 1356. Ken most certainly took the long way home ala the Supertramp song.

~One of my Corvette customers that I met at Corvettes at Carlisle two years ago is a TV/Radio Analyst for the Washington Capitals.
This past year he purchased a brand new Torch Red/Red Z06 to go along with his Red C5...and with the Washington Capitals winning
the Stanley Cup he was awarded a ring. Thought I would share a picture of his engine bay...and his new ring. Congrats Tom!

~One of my Corvette friends, John B. from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida sent me some cool Holiday tree ornaments this week.

~One of my soon to be ZR1 customers is a Professional Race Car driver and spent 10 days in August on a certain German Race Track driving 1,500
miles in a non Corvette...but caught a glimpse of a possible soon to be new generation Corvette.

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn Find and Throwback section. Please post up which is your favorite pic.

Have a Great week!

A Coffee and Corvette's good days start.A brisk useless 17 degrees out will keep speeds way down.Suppose to climb to a whopping 30 around noon.

Favorite photos - aside from the ELB ZR-1 - are the C2 with the "blue dot" tail lamps and the red C7 parked in front of the Hyatt Place.

I know how thrilled I am to have a 2017 Stingray as my first Corvette.........so I can hardly imagine what it must be like to drive a 2019 ZR-1 as one's first Corvette. Holy smoke!!

Thanks Mike for another week of pictures, and a great story about Ken's beautiful ZR1!

Congrats. to Ken for his first Corvette, and getting the ultimate performance model.

Looking forward to the stories on the other 3 ZR1's which also were delivered.

Also, a pretty cool thing for you to mention Tom's ring and Z06!

A lot of great pictures this week.... thought that this one represents where the Corvette started quite well.

Have a great week ahead.

Hello Mike,

Congratulations to Ken on his ZR1. What a first Vette! I would like to hear his impressions of it.

Since during the last 22 years my Vettes have been my daily drivers, I get to have a blast in mine every day. They all brought a smile to my face every time I drove them. I can't imagine not getting to drive a Vette every day.

As always, thanks for the throw back pictures. I always enjoy seeing them. I agree with you, get out and take a road trip in those Vettes!

Now I can start my Sunday!!!

Even though Bart Starr beat our Kansas City Chiefs in the first Super Bowl, I still have a lot of respect for him. He was a great quarterback.

Love that low wing ZR1! The black restomod split window with the killer stance runs a close second this week. As always, thanks Mike.

Thank you Mike for a wonderful Sunday thread. I had not seen a Elkart Lake Blue ZR1 before. It looks great; loved it from so many angles. Nor had I seen a Stanley Cup Championship ring up close. Very special!

Loved all the throwback pictures. A treat. However, who/what is this that could be coming up. It that going to be a C9 Corvette — for it was sure a BIG FUN picture to see.

Thanks again Mike for a truly wonderful and enjoyable thread.

except that resto-mod would be my #1 and the green egg-crate 70's w/fender flares #2

What year on the X-mas ornaments? From pics looks 64.
