VIN Meaning?
I noticed in some other posts, a discussion about vin numbers. Several posted part of their vin’s. Do the numbers mean something? My last 4 are 0163 on a ‘14 Stingray.

This is an example of a VIN # for a 2014 Corvette Convertible (3LT, Z51, A6):

There are 17 characters. Starting with first character on left the codes are:

Elmer, thank you. Huge help. That exactly matches my car according to the vin.
So I guess that means that my car was the 163rd produced for 2014...the 163rd c7. Nice to know.
