^^^ I don't believe he's a troll but someone who needs to be guided in the right direction. Best course of action is to go the dealership's GM. They pay attention because it's the back shop that makes most of the money.

I vote troll. No responsible "adult" would let this go on this long.

It may be Saturday but the sales dept is open and I am sure there is someone there who can check either on the computer or walk back to service to check if the car is there. Need to get out there and do it. My dealerships service dept is open on Saturdays

Why is it I can predict someone will do something that is incredibly stupid on this forum and not only does someone do it, a bunch of people do. Does owning a Corvette destroy brain cells? What is the matter with you people?

I believe that the OP is on the up and up. I seem to recall when he (LaRocca) bought it and was posting his anticipation about buying it.
.Look, some of us just want our cars fixed whilst we go about our lives - esp. a new very pricey car under factory warranty. As we expect they should be.
.Could be the dealership is so large and busy that the car got backburnered, while waiting for parts or whatever. I worked at a Honda motorcycle dealer during college Summers that was so busy that only the customers that pestered about service in person got quick results. We were frankly just snowed under busy 7-days a week.
.My indy for my Mercedes Benz turbodiesel, is a career changed graduate degreed physics major. He owns his own small shop for a select few MB owners. His love of restoring and reselling aging motorcars is his first love that he's involved with. A mint condition old '69 XKE Jaguar is one example of his work. The repair work done for a select few fortunate is a fill in for him to subsidize his painstaking restoration business. When you drop your car off you give him up to perhaps a couple weeks to get it repaired. He doesn't like to be pushed on deadlines - his work is superb and reasonable in price.
.Bill Dearborn gave him the best advice - if he'll act on it.

Are you asking for a status on your car or are you asking to speak to a certain person?
If I call about the status of my car the dealership I go to will answer questions even if the Service Writer responsible isn't available. The other Service Writers will put me on hold for a few minutes while they check with the mechanic or say they will get back to me with an answer.
Your noise description and the length of time involved along with not seeing the car outside may indicate it is inside on a lift waiting for some major parts.
Personally walking in the door and asking for the status of your car is the best way to find out what is going on. If you don't get any answers from the Service Writers/Advisers ask to speak to the Service Manager. Everybody in the shop works for the Service Manager and if that person can't provide an answer you may need to move the car to a different dealership.

Dealer had our (Non Corvette) more than 30 days we were refunded full purchase price
No Lawyer involved, I just followed directions according to State Attorney website, this included mailing a certified letter to car manufacturer. We returned car to dealer and check arrived 2 days later via FedEx.

He may be out driving his vette instead of putting up with the stupidity on this forum.

"Today marks the 4th time Ive called & no one has called me back in 20 days, to even let me know what is going on with my Vette. I always get the " Hes not here today excuse."
You have had far more patience than I would ever have had. After 20 days, escalate by calling the general manager of the dealership to leave a message that you will be contacting GM if they don't call you back the same day. Also do some research to find a better dealer and have the car flat bedded over there if you feel uncomfortable driving it.
What I don't understand is why people on this forum always seem reticent to name the dealership that has wronged them. I would also tell the dealership general manager that you intend to spread the word on this forum on how they have been treating you.

Last excuse for not going there was it was the weekend. Well now, it's a weekday, Monday. The morning is almost gone..... has the OP physically gone to the dealership yet? Sorry, but I'm with several others in thinking that this OP story is incredulous. I'm having a hard time believing that anyone who spent $80K of their hard-earned money on a vehicle would just let it go 20+ days without even knowing where it is.
