Manual no help. For years my favorites buttons have shown All The Time on the screen. This is what I want. Today I somehow ended up with this screen. How do I get my buttons showing all the time? Searching only gets people wanting to get rid of buttons. Thanks.

If you click the little up arrow (bottom right icon) on home screen the favorites should stay up. GM calls this the Interaction Selector. image from my 2014 manual, other years might be different?
Talking about presets. I somehow ended up on a screen that sweeping up did not work, in that , as soon as I hit a preset the presets disappeared again. Not staying on screen all the time. I think I got it now. It took awhile. Thank you everyone.

I have eight speakers hooked up to my Sony DA5ES amp, which is a wildly bad idea. Two speakers in each corner of the room, so there are actually FOUR speaker in PARALLEL on each output. And they're some mix of unknown impedance. There's not even a 4/8 ohm selector, let alone a 1 ohm setting, or whatever I've managed to do. I know it's a 'Bad Idea', but it works perfectly and sounds surprisingly good!
Whoops, this is somewhat Off Topic and I don't want to wind up there! So, back to aromatic hydrocarbons, the new words I learned today!
