I'm waiting for a hybrid. I want AWD, and I want mega torque, so all they need to do is keep the current LTx motor and add an electric to the front. But since there's not room, first they'd have to move the motor to be midengine, then they could electrify the front. Which is why I figure they're doing the midengine car (Cadillac or Corvette I don't know)... not because mid engine is better, but because you can then more easily electrify the front axle.
I haven't seen that postulated anywhere, so that might be a fresh idea. Or it might be stale up out of date, no idea, I'm not up to speed on the midengine car!
Another option is a turbo 4 or turbo 6 in the rear, because the electrification compensates for the missing torque. But people wouldn't want that in a "Corvette", which is why I suspect the pictures show what will become a Cadillac, or GM, or something non-Corvette.

When I ordered my ELBM Grand Sport through you guys, my dealings with Tommy, Chris, Jesse and Vanessa was exceptional! I got a great deal, was kept in the loop every step of the way and the process was about as painless as I've ever experienced in buying a car (and I'm in Oregon!).
Buy from these guys, you won't regret it!

I bought my z51 from these guys and I drove 4 hours each way just to get it. They were straight to the point and honest. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend them. I'm still waiting for my new balance shoes though.

Do you have a sterling blue z06? Didn’t think so.

I have fond memories of walking out of the Manchester airport and smelling pine trees. It was a hot summer day. Then walking in their showroom full of corvettes. They were everywhere you looked. ZR1's too. I think I need another corvette.
