How to keep gas from going bad over the Winter

Gas will not go bad over the Winter. Have not had a problem in storing cars over the Winter in more than 20 years from Vettes, Porsches, and other such toys.

Winter storage is getting shorter for me as it has been very common in the past few years to have great driving conditions sporadically throughout winter. For me great driving conditions for the Z06 means dry roads with temps in the low 50s or above AFTER a sustained rain event to flush the salt from the roads.
I do switch from 93 to 91 octane near the end of the normal driving season because I can get 91 without ethanol but I haven't found 93 ethanol free. I don't like leaving farmer gas sitting in a car and I won't use it in any home power equipment. My diesel tractor just got a dose of additive because it still has summer blend diesel in its tank; the early cold spell that caused the grass to go dormant followed by moderate temperatures with limited snow has resulted in it not being used much since late September so it still is running summer blend diesel.

Of course you could just drive it. It is a car. It's what you do with cars I'm told.

I add it every time I go to a Show as being tubbed has a small gas tank! I just add the amount specific for the gallons of gas added. With a 502 cid engine and the way it's geared takes a lot of gas even for a local show! Never have da an issue with the 850 Holley double pumper carb getting gummy etc!
The only thing I would do different for a C7 is run it down to ~1/4 take, then add the StaBil for 5 to 7 gallons. That keeps the fuel level sensor out of the gas to help prevent sulfur forming an insulating silver sulfide compound on the contacts. That has been spelled out in recent posts for the C7.

I'm not familiar with how the dual tank operation works. Is there any specific strategy to adding stabilizer or injector cleaner to a vette with dual tanks? As in, would you add half of whatever your adding before filling up and then the other half at the end or what? Maybe I'm overthinking this...
I'm just thinking that half of the fuel may not get treated?

I didn't find out until recently that there is one (and only one) station in my town that sells non-Ethanol gas. I think that would be the best bet, if you can find it.
Of course, I live in a drive-sports-car-11-months-of-the-year climate, so I don't have that storage problem that you yanks do. I drive all of my cars all of the time, except when there's snow or snow remnants on the ground.

This site won't have every station selling ethanol free listed but it is a great resource to find non-farmer gas in your area: https://www.pure-gas.org/

Stabil, has never let me down, regardless.

Quick answer as I store for at least 6 months every year in a garage under my house Got over 25 years doing that. (thats six vettes )
I only use NONE E gas in my vettes. Put a bit of stable in just for ***** and giggles for the winter sleep, put it under the car cover with tender on and it sits unmolested till about the middle of April.

You paid way to much for something that's just a car. Mine is a 2019 Grand Sport. Way more than just a car. Too bad you paid way too much for your "just a car". You could have saved a lot of money and bought just any car. Like a Prius or Camry. Better luck next time.

The way I see it, 93 will more than likely not break down, but it never hurts to add Sta-bil. Plus the price is fairly cheap and easily accessible for the most part.
The "just a car" argument aside I put this to the test for the Dodge Neon, Ford Model T, AMC Pacer, and Chevy Chevette. All of them have forums. Interesting...
