Let us know what they say. It's been a few years since I spoke with them about it. Phil brought up a good point about rates increasing after a collision claim, so it might be worthwhile to ask about that, too.

I didn't have the paint pitting from brake dust, no bent or cracked rims in 4000 miles. Black painted aluminum. So I feel pretty lucky. Not all people are having issues. I'm not saying I won't. Just not so far. It's a 2019 GS I picked up in June. Drove it from MacMulkin to Wisconsin. Tour mode all the way.

Just received a call back from GM Executive Resolution Team. I was told that they was no issue and the bent rims were a road hazard issue and turn it into my insurance company. But they did offer me a $100 certificate to be used at my local Chevrolet dealer. I was told that the case was being closed and they thanked me for contacting them.
I am so pissed off at this point I am not sure what the next step would be.....

I'm shocked. With such a sterling track record, we should expect better.

FCC? I think they already have their hands full with DirecTV and Howard Stern complaints.

Well for me, the dealer quoted it at $1,200. That seemed like a lot to me seeing as I have never had an issue with bent or cracked wheels. I did not know about this issue when I purchased the car, so buying the insurance just didn't make sense. If I knew then what I know now

$1200? I pretty sure I only paid around $750 for 5 years of coverage on the wheels. Given the cost to replace was around $600 or more a pop and hearing all the issues, I felt it was a good deal.

The screen capture below is why i didn't Bent wheels may be able to be repaired. The big issue is cracked wheels.
I like you did not know. Mine have not cracked yet. So I looked at getting tire and wheel protection plan. The GM Plus plan is not much use for a cracked wheel.
