Hmm?
I bought a carbon fiber frame on eBay for $10 free shipping. From an outfit in S CA. From 20', it is mah vuh luss darlin'.
Want to try something on the cheap. You no doubt got some kind of chrome frame from the dealer. Buy a can of Plasti Dip Smoke and paint it. The more coats, the darker it gets. And the less obvious the dealer name is. Did this with my F150 frame, turned out pretty nice. For eight bucks.

I've never thought of a license plate frame as a "mod."
My parents taught me to be nice so I won't post my opinion of the OP's frame.

On my truck, where I did every part of the frame-off myself except machining, paint, and transmission, I have a "BUILT NOT BOUGHT" license plate frame.
On my Z, I've got this. Sorry that I didn't clean the tips (or wash the car or clean the plate), just grabbed a pic of it...

$7 at Walmart. Bought it 2 C7's and 2 Camaro's ago and it's one of the few things I make sure comes off the car before swapping them out (I have an odd attachment to it since it's on it's 6th car).

Figured it wasn't overkill since it didn't say this on the back of the car. Gotta get me some black screws though or paint them, those came from the dealer and have been lower on the list of things to get done to the car....
