Elkhart Blue vs. Torch Red
#21
This one is easy...Just adhere to the following procedure:
1. Source a quarter from pocket, piggy bank, couch cushions.
2. Toss quarter into the air and allow to land.
3. If head side is facing up, purchase blue. If tail side is facing up, purchase red.
It's really as simple as that...

First, you can never go wrong with a red Corvette, both from a purchase and a resale perspective. The Elkhart blue is a great color and very similar to the former Laguna Blue. A friend of mine has a Laguna Blue Z06 with sliver dual stripes. It is easily the most photographed Corvette I've ever seen. Wherever we go, people take pics of it because it's stunning.
Either way, you will draw a lot of attention.

Whichever one does NOT have chrome wheels
Actually there is no wrong answer here, both colors are HOT and it's a C7, so basically it's a win win either way.
I would go with the Blue personally

I've said it before, so why not say it again. The song goes like this "Little RED corvette, baby you're much too fast" NOT Little Blue corvette...Hello, this is an easy one. J/K both are cool.

BLUE!!! The wife and I are having these same debates, we're planning to purchase a C7 by spring. We're down to Red or White but only because she doesn't like blue, however Blue would be my vote! I normally would never even think of buying a blue corvette but it looks amazing with the chrome wheels and that's what I'd buy if it were only my choice. The flip side to it is now she's leaning more toward the Z06 because she likes the Z wheels better so I can live with red or white to get the Z (have absolutely no need for a Z like most but oh yea). We also were originally set on black wheels but the more we've looked at them the more we're liking the chrome. Right this minute we're leaning toward the red Z with chrome wheels, secondly white with black wheels but we're going to look at a white with chrome to see how it looks in person.

Elkhart Blue doesn't make the Laguna Blue grade. Torch Red is always a great choice. Personally, I'd choose Arctic White over any of em, hands down.

Both look great. Went from a 99 torch red hard top to a 15 Laguna blue Stingray. One of the reasons I went to Laguna blue is every nut on the road wants to challenge the red corvette from my experience. Seems the nuts leave the blue corvette alone😄

It's a personal preference. Red will garner more general attention because it's red and is an eye catching color. I've driven by hotel lots, restaurants, etc. and so many times it was gray, silver, black and white cars filling the lot, so blue will stand out, but it's not as immediately obvious to the eye in motion as red is. I am a blue fanatic though and went ELBM and quite a few pics of my Z06 2LZ grace the ELBM thread which you've been perusing. So I am biased!
As I tell others, imagine having one and seeing the other one. Would you say, "I wish I'd gotten that instead." or "I made the right choice." We can't make that choice for you in the end. I love my ELBM and in a world of black, white, gray and silver, it stands out as different and the ELBM is every bit as good a color as Laguna Blue was to me. I'm not sure the LB people if faced with the challenge in a series of pictures could choose which color was in each image.
Frankly, for me my second choice was Sebring Orange. All the colors look great on them, but the orange is just a fabulous color to me as well.
Whatever you choose you'll enjoy I'm sure!

I went through the same situation about a month ago Billy. And, you know what I chose. It wasn't easy in any way though. You know Mike will get you either one. Good luck.
