Default yokel challenge

Seems to me that a lot of the "old" posters on this thread, have forgotten what it was like to be young!
I remember great times in N.E. Phila, on Rt. 1 (the boulvard) and the Big Boys there, and in Abington. Just because I drive an old mans 2017 ZO6, doesn't mean I dont remember the good old days! Ah to be young again!

I bought my first Vette when I was 25. Everyone wanted to race me. I did the same then as I do now, as posted above. I just let them take off like a maniac while I drive normally. Not wrecking my car or getting it impounded. Not saying I was super mature at 25 I was just smart enough not to street race.

Are you old enough to have done Decatur Rd by Northeast Airport? Old York Rd cruising in Hatboro? Hot Shoppes in Abington? The boulevard was always fun, especially when you were on the inside set of lanes and someone on the outside set was trying to run with you until you left them in the dust at Cottman.

Funny but this happened to me yesterday. Some 20 something with a Toyota Corolla racecar pulled up next to my GS. He must have just installed a new CAI in it and tanked up with some 91 octane and was feelin' a little frisky. He was probably pushing 125 HP in his heavy modded ricer. I rev my engine a little at the light and just let him speed away when the light changed. He must have actually thought his Corolla is quicker than a Grand Sport. I'll probably quit driving if someday a nun in a Hyundai pulls up to me and gives me that look.

, but best to just ignore the challenges on a public street. Not worth the risk.
