Not interested in a ME car especially if it only comes with an automatic transmission, has no storage and a base price of well over $100K. That's not a Corvette to me anymore. Might as well call it something else.

No fair. You cut off his quote so you could intentionally misconstrue what he said. He SAID "Or so it seems to many Corvette owners." which is not as exclusive as you maintained.

Here's the full quote, Mike. Thanks. When they can't argue the points, they falsify the post.

I guess I’ve been watching too much mainstream media where they selectively edit to misrepresent things. I was focusing only on the part I quoted because I see people say bs like that here. It was not my intention to mislead. Sorry SRJ.

Yes the base engine will be the LT1 putting out about 500-550 HP the upgrade will be DOHC with turbo's about 800 hp and maybe an hybrid with a combined HP around 1000HP. of course this is all speculation at this time

After getting laid off in 2010, I didn't think I'd ever own a Vette again. But after picking up a great consulting gig, I was able to afford a used C5 and I was thrilled to get it. The gig lasted way longer than expected allowing the purchase of the C7. Will I be able to push my luck and go for a C8? First, let's see what it's all about. Then I'll decide if I'm even interested. The C7 is way more car than I ever expected to own and I still love it. So I'm a "maybe".

If it has stop/go crap, no.
If it look's wonky, no
If it has lambo style doors, no
If way more then a C7, maybe
If the early reviews or so/so will wait.
If has a small litre motor, no
If no v8, definit, no
