Has Anybody Owned More Than 18 C7s? Just Wondering If I'm The Only Crazy One
I'm just curious if anybody has owned more than 18 C7 corvettes since they have come out. I was just going through my phone and looking at the pictures of all the ones I've had and I forgot about some. LOL! So I know for a fact I've had 18 of them, but I might be forgetting a few in there. I've had 2 Stingrays, 1 Z51, 1 Grand Sport, and 14 Z06s. I've had coupes and convertibles and have literally had all the packages (1lt, 2lt, 3lt, 1lz, 2lz, 3lz). I've also had Z07 cars. So is anybody else out there crazy like me? I am averaging a new one every 3 1/2 months (bought my first 2014 in April 2014 and the last one I bought was a 2019 last month). This doesn't even include the dealer demos.

Yep, that's crazy. While realizing it's much easier and less expensive for you to purchase so many C7s than the typical enthusiast, what's your motivation for wanting to?

My biggest reason for changing cars all the time is so when a customer asks me a question, I know the answer. Example would be what are the differences in packages, ride quality with different suspensions, and how the cars handled differently. I also like to see the changes throughout the years and mid model changes.

Purchasing a new C7 every 3.5 months must not only be expensive (even though I assume you have something worked out with dealership) but a pain in the ***, considering changing registration, insurance etc? Then there's all that sales tax.

You can't do as much with a demo as your own personal car. For instance, I won't take a demo on the track, but a personal one, I will. Also whenever I drive a demo, it just doesn't feel as good as my own personal car. LOL!

I get attached to cars, so don't change so frequently, to each their own. Thanks for sharing it with us, very interesting.

Nice sales tactic with the huge font and post! Any chance you had 18 of them trying to find one without a faulty transmission??? lol

"Owned," as in buying and licensing and paying sales tax as we do?

I always use larger fonts in my main post so people that have a hard time seeing can read it better or people that have small computer screens. Also I only had one transmission with a problem on all 18 and it was fixed and then it was fine.
