Default What is an average price for Xpel coverage

Hi all,

What is an average price for Xpel installation for this coverage: Partial Hood Fenders, Mirrors and entire front bumper (most cars) and is $750 a reasonable price?

Thank you!!

That's a bargain price, and would make me wonder about the experience of the installer. I did full hood and fenders, as well as nose and mirrors, and it cost me $2500 at the most well-known installer in my area.

PPF installation is all about the skill of the installer. I'd ask to see examples of his other work.

As mentioned in the other thread about this...

Full front (to door leading edges), headlights, rockers (up to door coves and over sills), mirrors, door trailing edges, hand recesses, door, entire rear fenders (including gas filler door), spoiler leading edge, tint all windows (except for windshield) and flat black hood stinger - $3,400. Done with Xpel Ultimate Plus by certified installer (rolled over edges too)

EXCELLENT job

I would consider for $750 - 1000, but much over that I would investigate just taking to a body shop (I have friends that are owners of such).

Talk about a rip off of cost...…

From my experience you should do the entire hood and A Pillars as well.

Go to the Xpel website and search for "authorized installers" in your area.
I had full hood & fenders, nose, headlights, mirrors, rockers and rear brake duct area (`19 Grand Sport) done with Xpel Ultimate Plus for just shy of $2500 and it's worth every cent!. We had Xpel Ultimate on our 2010 Grand Sport and after 39,000 miles the front was still spotless.

Op you will see pricing from one end of the stick to the other end of it. But 750.00 is way cheap BUT HERE IS THE PROBLEM you pay on this in what you get from the person that is putting it on your car. IF THE JOB IS DONE CORRECT I would chg you 1/2 of that just for the prep work to make the car look like a million dollars before the xpel would go onto the car.

Think if it like this if the car looks like **** before the xpel goes on the car the xpel will only bring that out even more when it is put on. Car need to be clay bar cleaned waxed to get all the crap out of the paint before this xpel goes onto the car. I am sure a good shop will clean & clean it again then buff all bad spot out before doing the xpel. I have seen price's from as much as 5,k plus for a full cover. I paid 800.00 just for the noise and hood and few small parts on the car. Robert

Paid 2000 for almost the entire car to be done. It really just depends on the installer and region / competition. I think that price is pretty close to what my installer would charge for similar coverage. In my opinion though it really is worth it!!

Z07 front bumper, stage 3 front splitter, headlights and mirrors for $650. I’d never do a partial hood...that line would drive me crazy. Likewise I believe the fenders are overkill...very low PK for damage. As others have said, choosing the right installer is critical.

Where did you have your work done? I have used A&G Auto Spa in St Louis on several occasions and have always been very happy with their work. When I get a new Corvette or 911 I immediately put them into my enclosed trailer and deliver them to Saul to wash, clay, paint correct, Expel Ultimate on full front clip and high impact areas then ceramic coat with Opticoat Pro the entire car as the last step. Typically about $3,000 for the entire job to include window tint. Does an excellent job! I always have all the Expel over cut so all pieces are wrapped around each body panel piece. Extremely difficult to see the car has film on it.

In December 2017; I was given these two quotes on my new C7 convertible for full C7 coverage. One the high, the other the low. A locked in price of $3,200.00 from one Xpel franchisee, for entire C7 coverage. I was then given an estimate of $5,000.00/$5,500.00, from Xpel Corporate in San Antonio, Texas for entire C7 coverage.

I had 3M done exactly what you indicated and it was $775. Three years and looks new with 86,500 miles. Don't see any lines and when there is a hint of it I just use alcohol and a smooth brush on the line and its is gone. I have only to do that twice.

On my car, I had the full front fascia, full hood, both front fenders, mirrors, headlights, lower rocker panels, behind rear wheels and door sills done for $1950 + tax.

Que Rich,

You've got a great question. We're happy to help out. Please note that because of differences in labor rates due to installer experience, overhead costs, etc..I can only give you a general range of what to expect.

- Partial Front End. 18" - 24" up the hood with matching fender coverage. Front bumper, side mirrors, and headlights. $895 - $1,195. **This package is no longer common among Corvette owners and in fact we recommend against it as rocks tend to bounce up the hood not off the hood leading to damage above the partial film seam. Plus, by doing the full front you get the entire body panel done which looks even more invisible and makes cleaning/maintenance that much easier.

- Full Front End. Full hood and fenders. Front bumper, headlights, and side mirrors. $1,895 - $2,295.

- Full Front End & Rocker Panels. Same coverage as above but with rocker panel pieces including the bottom of the door (C7) and behind the rear wheel. $2,495 - $2,895

- Full Car. $5,500 - $8,500. Varies based on spoilers, coupe versus convertible, and STEALTH satin finish film versus ULTIMATE PLUS gloss finish.

As you plan on keeping the car for a while, I will stress even more that you want to protect all of the high impact areas of the vehicle. These are the places that are going to take the biggest beating. The rocker panels are incredibly popular to protect as your front tires will fling up rocks and chip the bottom sides of your Vette. The Corvette is our 3rd most popular model we protect globally and the high majority of those owners decide to go with full front and rocker panel protection. It's more of an investment than a partial, but just as your Corvette is worth every penny, we assure you that getting more protection will give you better peace of mind while driving and that it just takes one instance of the film saving your paint (as you read in the thread) to make it all worth not having to repaint something.

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH are backed by a 10 Year Warranty that covers yellowing, staining, hazing, cracking, peeling, lifting, and more. Parts AND labor.

Check out this video to see our ULTIMATE PLUS film in action.

Hope this info helps, let us know if we can answer any other questions.
